Don't get me wrong, I was happy when we signed him. But how often is he going to play?

Our plan b is obviously CKR now. Think Cole will play another couple of times then leave in the summer.

18 month contract, think he'll still be here next year.

It's on the pitch we need experience, pointless signing imo, more money down the drain.

The problem with a Cole-type signing is the fact that you can hardly leap for a header against an opposition player these days without it being a freekick for whoever doesn't win the ball.

Everyone and their dogs knew this was a daft signing. Whoever is in charge of the cheque book lately is clearly either stupid or drunk.

"Carlton, it's time for you to take this game by the scruff of the neck."

    * looks like he'd struggle getting his shirt on.

He'll be on a basic wage with bonuses for playing etc, I can't imagine he'll be on that much.

Pittance , probably only on about 300-400,000 a year, hardly worth turning up.

Just think, we signed him the week after we played Dundee and won ...6-0

    Them were the days !

Cole is on 5 grand a week . It's called a white line contract . As soon as he steps on the pitch the bonuses start mounting up ( rather quickly I may add)

5 grand wasted every week in my opinion .

Where are you getting this from ?
You were bang on the money with Armstrong and a statement like this suggests you know something we don't.

Is that you, Stuart ? :97:

I'm doubting you know, something , not after the Armstrong signing.

Rather him than CKR, but also would rather we had given Guidetti a contract last year, would have saved on money and we would have a better Striker

is it an agent thing?like we do certain agents favours and they try and get us good players, but in return we need to sign the odd shiter in lieu of a bung ?otherwise our policy is baffling

    New Freddie Ljungberg.

Infact that's no actually fair, at least Ljungberg was a good player once.
