Griffiths will score 30+ this season regardless.

I'd only like him to play as part of a front 2. Don't think he can be relied on now on his own to get enough goals, plus Griffiths won't be dropped.

Depends whose behind him, put Commons in behind him and getting beyond him you'd see a lot of goals IMO. It gives us options, if Griffiths is ever unavailable.

I like big Cole, he seems to be a good character to have around.

He does look a bit stiff right enough, still think his physique can be a huge asset for us, and I think he can still shift a bit, but does need to get plenty of game time.

Kapo got one game, set up a goal and got man of the match did he not? Then we decided he didn't need to be paid :smiley-laughing002:

Anyone that thinks Cole looked cumbersome and looked like he was lacking match fitness should be made aware that, that is Carlton Cole :56:

I think he looked good, brought a composure to our front line we don't have. If Griff or even Stokes or Ciftci get the ball they are all about squaring up the defender and attempting to move forward. Cole can bring the ball down and work in a full circle if there's no support.

    Was he injured today?

Makes you wonder what future he has at the club if Kazim-Richards is already ahead of him in the queue for game time up front.

Such a pointless signing nearly 6 months he's been here and he's still nowhere near fit now injured

He's one for the future, a work in progress, his leg will have to be amputated but we will make him better, he's improving all the time.

We will just pay him while he gets fit and healthy in time for his retirement.
