    He's awful and not suited to playing for us imo, one point the day he got the ball passed into him off Bitton I think and he took a touch and leathered it back to Boyata. He's as slow as * as well and looks like he canny be arsed running, plays in slow motion.

    Nobodies knickers are soaking, and you know that. Plenty of people realise he is here to be a big target man type and offer something different, which he will do.

    Funny how this guy get's labelled a dud when the golden child Leigh Griffiths should be so lucky to sign for West Ham.

    He had 1 good season at west ham years ago he's a folk hero the same as Mccourt was here. Why bring Griffiths in to it ?

    He did far more for West Ham than novelty goal McCourt ever did for us. They obviously rated him enough to keep him for about 10 years. Obviously he's nothing special but he's a decent big player who can do a job.

    Well people seem to think the sun shines out his * when the guy is an English Championship level player. To rave about him and call Carlton Cole a dud is a bit rich.

    Never said he was a dud I'll give him a chance far from impressed so far but. If he came from any other league in the world with that record at that age we would be seriously sceptical.

    So by that logic you would have Cole starting ahead of Griffiths as Cole has played for West Ham ?

    Of course we would. But he's been playing in a very competitive league for an average to poor side, when he was there.

    Well, unless a player is top notch, rarely does any striker have a great record at pish EPL teams. Gary Hooper didn't exactly set the heather alight for Norwich.

    Hooper has scored goals wherever he has been and at every level.

    Personally I don't think Cole is good enough I'll give him a chance to get up to speed and hope he proves me wrong

    I know I know, not slagging off Hooper. Just pointing out that it's not easy to score for low table teams in the EPL.:50:

    He won't be a world beater but I think he gives us a different option. One we haven't had for a while.
