    Ronny will get him fit, sharp and a bit of confidence in him. A useful player to have, better later than never to get another striker in for cover plus will be useful for a plan b.

    My thoughts exactly mate - the comments from cole don't seem overly keen either.
    Wouldn't surprise me if he's just doing this to get in all of the papers etc as perhaps the english teams have forgotten about him.
    I'm probably just being a bit ridiculous!

    I doubt it. They're probably just making it clear that it's not a given that he can sign for us without being put through the paces. He has to be fit and sharp and go through various medical checks to see if he can cut it.

    As well as him agreeing personal terms and seeing if he wants to spend the next few years living in this cold, wet and windy city.

    He's older but I don't think he is massively experienced.

    His career is disjointed. I see were RD is coming from.

    He still needs developed, he needs to be a regular - something lacking from his entire career.
