    Aye first goal I'm sure..

He's class. Physically really imposing, quick across the ground and his passing is underrated....it's always pretty crisp, if no adventurous..

    Clearly better than Scales..

Thought he was really good on the whole and pleased he scored.
Has to be him and CCV first choice now surely.

Think he just got a little spooked in the final.
Still thjnk he is the better option to scales

Thought he was excellent bar one poor pass in the second half.

Should have been in ahead of Scales all along.

Hopefully that's him in along CCV now.

The fact he was hooked at HT in the final and Scales wasn’t on Thursday is mental.

I have been impressed all season with him and it was a performance today that said to the manager, I am not losing my place in the team again. Him and CCV are very good together.

No really baffling he was left out, Scales come on for him in the Cup Final and was excellent.

However, by that in game logic Trusty should have came on for Scales at Ibrokes. That’s the mistake Rodgers made.

It's not really as he was hooked at HT during the final for Scales.

Aye but Scales at Ibrox was an absolute calamity and miles worse than Trusty’s first half in the final. Honestly still can’t believe Scales played the full game.

Looking forward to him and CCV playing together for the rest of the season, good teams are built on a solid foundation of quality keeper and center back partnerships. That's the cornerstone.

    Delighted for him.

My biggest gripe with Rodgers this season tbh, leaving him out in that way. Hopefully stays where he is now.

He's got decent pace, crisp enough passing, aggressive and very strong in the air. As strong a CB in the air as I can remember for us in recent times tbh.

Trusty wasn't even bad in the final either, defensively Scales was actually worse than him. Was Scales who gave the ball away in the lead up to their 2nd goal, then he almost gave away a penalty where as defensively Trusty wasn't really involved.

Scales more brought on to knock the ball about faster and do something going forward.
