He's been superb in terms of his football but also has a great presence, mentality and attitude. No shy in sticking up for his teammates and takes responsibility as a leader.

Really think he'll be a phenomenal signing for us, possibly up there with CCV over time.

He was fine today but didn't look 100% to me, hope the big man is alright.

Carrying an ankle knock, is he not? Wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out of US squad

Ipswich in a relegation battle as expected but from what I have seen O'Shea has done well for them so far.

Madness that you'd hold out for a team in the EPL that will be relegated and then you go back to the Championships for the rest of your career.

How many have shown up and got a move to another EPL team?

Could've come here, won trophies, got Champions League experience and then made the jump.

    Oh, well.

Didn't get on today. 1-0 win to the USA. Stats for the game looked poor. Usa team should be hammering Jamaica who were down to 10 men

No game time for the big man against Jamaica tonight.

America won 4-2 on the night 5-2 overall

Thought he as our best player in the first half comfortably.

Second half he was still good, bar one moment where Hearts should have capitalised on.

Really harsh on Scales but he's deservedly on the bench just now, albeit I'd 100% play him next weekend against Ross County.

Really, thought he was poor and not involved whole game. Think we miss Scales in games like these as he at least attempts to carry the ball forward. Don't see Trusty doing that often (maybe at all) tonight.

To be honest I think that's Scales biggest weakness, he's a fantastic defender but his passing can be really ropey at times.

For me, it's six and a half a dozen between Scales and Trusty the now, but I think it's clear Rodgers prefers Trusty, and I think his pace makes a major difference.

Either or, Trusty was definitely our best player in the first half, not as good in the second but still fine, would rotate Scales back in for next weekend.

It's very difficult to choose between the two for now.

I'd honestly have Scales, not because I don't like Trusty, but Liam has been our best player this season. Great position to be in, but hopefully can keep them both happy.

Good to see Liam laughing and joking on bench with Mccowan today, seems a good mixture.

It might be a weakness but at least he does it was really my point.

I just don't see Trusty doing it at all which means others have to and that creates all sorts of problems. McGregor was dropping so deep looking for the ball at certain points.

Thought he played really well tonight, physically strong, rapid and good on the ball
