I don't think for a minute that CG is the greatest but he's what we have going into the next few important games and the team doesn't need the distraction. Yes he has made a few clangers but that's for BR to look at and make a decision. He shouldn't have responded to what CS had to say.

As for what he said about McCann .....I never read the article but we know how it generally goes with the mutual respect blah de blah.

I didnt want CG when he first signed. I didnt trust any * who went hat in hand to sevco or stinkcastle looking a deal.

But his first season he had me eating my words. He was brilliant. I s proved wrong just like I was when I railed against us signing Griff.

But this blindness to this guys weaknesses is madness imo. Im baffled as * that we didnt make a new keeper one of our priorities this summer.

Hands up, I dont like CG, dont like his attitude. Dont like the way he harps on about wanting Hearts to be back at the top of Sottish football, dont like his thanking sevco for his rehibilation, dont like his accusing Sutton of pandering to HIS OWN FANS, dont like his licking McCanns balls while said * calls us "despicable and disgusting".

As said, hands up, I homestly dont like him.

That doesnt mean I, other members on here, or sutton is wrong about his weaknesses.

    We NEED a new keeper.

Meh. Lot of fuss over nothing. Sutton is well within his rights to criticise and Gordon is well within his rights to respond.

I do think we should be aiming to improve on Gordon in all honesty. He's not a bad keeper, but for what we're aiming to do we need better imo. You want someone who's consistent and can bail you out on occasion, I'm not sure he's done either that regularly.

Yes we do and I'm sure BR will eventually rectify that but meantime we need him in the form of his life for the next few games.

@Jeannie960 agreed. allowing himself to be distracted by a pundit is massive * up given the games that are coming up.

I'd love us to sign Danny Ward on loan from Liverpool (ideally with an option to buy as well).

Interesting shout, seems decent, could go and improve and offer more then Gordon.

Don't think Liverpool will let him go though, they seem to rate him there even if he doesn't play much.

Window licker was uncalled for, granted but the way you're going on is pathetic pal. Aye and Sutton is a disgrace..

The stupid faces. The looking to the camera. The sighing. The shouting anyone down who disagrees. The petty arguing he seems to be doing with our support on a daily basis online now..

He may not always have gone for Gordon but by * he's made up for it. He probably had no time inbetween his slaughtering of Ronny..

I've no interest in reading that whole thing either..

Even the other pundits on BT have said he'll never give Gordon credit when it's due cos he simply does not like the guy.

Sutton's job now is punditry - that involves formulating an opinion based on what HE sees, putting that opinion forward, and debating it.

At times I thought he was a bit over the top with Deila, but in the long run he was entirely right.

It DOES appear at times he's being a bit heavy on Gordon, but everything he's highlighted, he is right about. And there is absolutely no argument that he has given hefty praise when he felt it had to be given.

He's about as impartial a pundit I've ever heard - even if he does hate the huns.

That's because (apart from the odd BT cameo from Michael Stewart) the rest of the BT pundits are * morons or hun sympathizers...

To be fair it's Michael Stewart who's pulled him up a few times about Gordon...

Every goal we concede whenever we play on BT, Sutton is immediately looking for anything he can criticise Gordon on, he could be beaten by a 40 yard wonder striker and Sutton would still say he could have got a finger too it

Think so? I think we'd struggle with Forster and he was raw as * the first year and a half

I think when he does criticise him it's usually called for. Usually his ones at the near post that we're all saying the same thing about. He does let in ones that I think he should save.

He also can make saves he has no right to get to. I said this earlier but he's similar to Joe Hart for me.

Didn't Gordon have previous of this earlier this season/last season!? Where he came in for criticism and palmed it off as if it doesn't matter.

He seems to not give a * or take criticism seriously.

Not saying Sutton is an angel, he was a dog with a bone with delia at times. But he hasn't said anything wrong, or more so anything I and many other fans don't agree with.
He is been at fault for a lot of goals that have cost us, or have been very close to costing us. As a club we can do a lot better than Gordon, but for the time being he isn't exactly a bomb scare, specially in domestic scene.

But he has to be able to take a bit of stick and criticism here, a bit of grace or something and accept (something he didn't do previous, anyone else recall what I mean!?) that he has actually made mistakes and at least let the fans know he accepts some responsibility.

Admit to mistakes, admit to needing to improve, but also say Sutton should lay off is fine. But yet again it's almost like he can't take any blame here.

    Excellent save today.
His 'hoof' kickout to the sideline was flicked on to McGregor which led to Griffs goal too.

Also was in full possession of the cross when that Columbian * clattered him. * should've got a second yellow.
