we have some great creative players like commons, kayal, ledley, forrest, ki, maloney, mccourt the list goes on the problem today was just the players in midfield not playing together much remember it was more or less a second string team on the park with some new faces and 2 young boys and we won comfortably

for a team lacking match sharpness and havent played much together a thought we did okay but with our first team we would have destroyed that team

Ledley is fantastic, constantly running to close the opposition down and win the ball back. Also moves our play along quickly when he wins the ball. He is not the most creative player but he can put in a good cross and has played some excellent longballs.

You're right, we haven't replaced Naka - but in all honesty, it would be almost impossible to do that. He was a truly exceptional ball player, and at any given time we just can't expect to have someone of that calibre.

When Lenny was appointed at first, I said what we most needed was a creative playmaker. But in fact we've done things slightly differently, and bought a number of players, none of whom is an out-&-out playmaker, but all of whom have a creative string to their bow. Kayal, Ki, Commons and Stokes all have good vision and passing ability. Now we even have a CB who can play the defence splitting pass.

Midfield is the part of a football team that I would most focus on personally - but I honestly feel it's our best area at the moment. We could do with another striker, and are in urgent need of a goalkeeper. Our defence is pretty good, although we might start to strugle there if injuries hit. But we could honestly field a 2nd string midfield which would still be better than any other team in the SPL - including der visigoth.
