Sign the trialist Stjepanovic and theres mcgeadys replaced for £1.5m. I think the Sol campbell bid is dead now, but would be nice if they rekindled their interest in Ramis who is a steal at £2m. Not sure if lennon wants any more left backs as he may be considering the 3-5-2 formation so would be looking at bringing in Juarez £3m and then the big name striker. So that works out at £15m - £6.5m = £8.5m for the Marquee signing.

Zaluska can do a job for us, he has already proved it, unsure why so many people forget how good he was when Boruc was out. Worried if he got injured though.

All this Bellemy/Keane is doing my * in, I'd rather have Goodwillie & Stokes anyday.

The wages these guys are on & the benefits we can get from our league/EL is not even close to being stupid - it's waaay beyond that. They've both played here before & we didn't win the league.

Goodwillie & Stokes will score just as many goals & cost a fraction of the amount & are much younger/hungrier.

so imo we're at square 1 with regards the actual budget whaterver it may be but with the addition of 3.5m in incoming transfer fees!! and a possible 10m for aiden 3m for hinkel and 1m for sammy bringing in a total of 17.5m in fees if all the conjecture is true, this is the true test of Lawells word because he has always stated that whatever was brought in would be used to strenghten the playing staff so the figures could be £17.5million brought in then what the original £8million transfer budget at a guess thats £25.5million available for transfers if Lwaells true to his word even taking out the reported £4million pound debt that leaves over £20 million as the overall budget!!! big bucks and we could sign almost anyone within reason then!! this is the test for Lawell, Reid and the board are they true to their word or it the old way yet again. dont get me wrong all the figures are conjecture not fact cos as we all know Celtic is like the FBI when it comes to actually getting the true accounts of things but i think theyre fair and i dont believe that i have over embellished the values or wages that we should get for any of the players i have mentioned, but im sure there'll be a good few who shoot me down..

Keane and McDonald, both were at the club last season and both unreplaced.

Not a chance in * of getting both but would like us to try and get one. Keane is the more likely as i think Desmond or O'Brien would be happier to stick their hand in their pocket to pay the Irish captains wages.

 

I personally think theres not a chance in * of Dermot putting his hand in his pocket for us again, but thats just my opinion and obviously i'd be more than happy to be proven wrong
