    well i suppose to be fair the story has probably a fair bit of truth about it as he is a good player and good players always attract interest but by the same token id assume theres probably a story like this about most young starlets playing alll over the world

    More often than not, when something says "keeping tabs on..." it is talking complete and utter pish. If they had anything of more substance, then they would have printed it. This just reeks of tabloid sensationalism at its poorest.

    That said, I'm sure Tony Watt put a lot of clubs on alert with his performance against Inverness. He's definitely a talented player and it might not be too long before some bigger clubs come knocking on the door if he can keep it up.

    It is completely made up.

    However it is not unthinkable that Watt could score quite a few goals this year. With a lot of players being rested for Europe he might get a lot more game time in the SPL than he otherwise would have. So if at the end of the season people see '18 year old tops scoring charts in Scotland' you can bet your house on him being linked with dozens of teams.
