McGeouch may benefit from a 6 month loan but I would prefer to keep Tony WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

hopefully this means Lenny has something up his sleeve with regards to our forward line.

Assuming the story is true of course.

Watt - out on loan to an SPL club tell him he has to target 20 goals if he wants first team here.

McGeouch - Keep him and give more time, feels he is the natural successor to Commons and potential to be better.Loan out George instead.

Do the Same with Atajic - Loan him now, another year in youths is a waste. (Same with Irvine and Fraser)

I think Lennon wants to play Sammy up-front he's been searching for a LW for ages.

    Target being the key-word.

So if he targets 20 and only get 7 then that's ok? :97:

Assuming he plays a full season (or at least the same as this season past) then no that wouldn't be ok and I wouldn't want him in the first team.

I know what you meant I was just trying to have a little fun.

I would rather he stayed. If he get's the same amount of game time as he got last season then that will be enough, he will also learn more here from better players than he will at another team.

    ahhh ya *. :52:

I'm not Watt's biggest fan but I do believe he can make it at Celtic and, if he wants, become our all time top goalscorer etc

But he needs gametime ASAP and, for whatever reason, he has gone off the rails since Barcelona/ St Johnstone where he last scored.

Overall his last season was poor when you consider he was top goalscorer (in the SPL) till like November. He should've pushed on and hit at least 10 in all comps.

I think Neil wanted to keep his feet on the ground, show him that it doesn't come that easily.

He did go off the boil as you said though after Barca.

Nothing wrong with reminding him he hasn't made it just yet.

I think maybe something is going on behind the scenes. I have heard he's a bit of a lazy * in training so maybe Lennon wants to teach him a lesson.

I'd like to see Watt stay, and keep getting games here. He played about 30 games last year, though I'm sure a significant amount were from the bench.
He's got a bit of everything you'd want in a striker. It's just up to him how much he wants it. If he gets his head down and works hard, he could have a really big season.

McGeouch is seriously talented, but needs a season playing regularly in his best position - not 20 mins at right-back once a month. When I saw him in the NextGen series, he looked a real talent. We've seen flashes of it, but we've stunted his development by mucking him around for a year.

at their age they need all the game time they can get so sending them on loan could work wonders

Think it would be better if we kept both with wanyama gone and Hooper looking likely to go now is there chance to step it up in training and on the pitch and try to nail down first team spots

Disappointed if Mcgeouch goes on loan would rather see him in the first team now wanyamas off understand watt going out with balde, a possible replacement for hooper and stokes if he signs a contract with us all ahead of him would like him to go to Aberdeen or Hibs I would keep Mcgeouch and send out Twarzdik on loan until January

McGeouch isn't a swap for Vic though. Kayal or A.N. Other Signing will be filling that slot.

McGeouch should be vying with Commons and Rogic for the playmaker role but Lenny obviously thinks he is third choice in that battle.

A loan deal will do him good, lets see where he is at.

Watt is different, he played a lot last season, scored some good, important goals and we aren't exactly tripping over goalscorers who know what the club is about, and has previous for finding the back of the net.

Watt should definitely stay, I think he will.

Was pretty disappointed that Tony Watt never really kicked off after the Barcelona goal, it seemed to almost have an opposite effect on him.
