I'd want to send him to the championship personally. If we did send him out to someone in the SPL it would not be Hibs I would choose, I hate Hibs * helping them out:56: Mind you I don't like any other clubs in the SPL so it would be hard to choose.

Why does he need sent out on loan? I remember being up in inverness last year and seeing Watt and McGeouch run riot. Watt is probably our most direct and creative striker, I want to see him being a first team player next year, not sent out on loan to another SPL team where he would probably run riot.

We do need to use the loan system a lot better anyway I think, everyone else does for 2/3 years and players become ready and that much better with the experience gained...

Also if there playing at a decent standard but not quite good enough as long as there under contract more sides will likely pay decent money for them than if they were stuck in our development/under 19 sides!

    Mcgeough
    Fisher
    Irvine
    Atajic
    Twardzic
    Henderson
    George
    Kidd
    Herron
    Lindsay

Would all benefit at some points down the line going out to spl and first division sides...

We could do with having a feeder team in the league below like a Morton or a league 1 side like brentford and send players there for a couple years to improve or even 6 months at a time after or before next gen games, something like this anyway...

I don't think we should send Watt out on loan. Miku is gone, Lassad is gone, Hooper in on the verge of leaving and now Watt is about to be loaned out? I don't get it.

I'll flip out if Hooper leaves and Watt is sent out on loan and then we bring in someone like McFadden.

Hibs would be the perfect choice. They need strikers, Watt would play everyweek.

if they're not going to play regularly here they need it somewhere else. Two very good talents that will be wasted sitting on our bench.

McGeough has the potential is be a cracking player imo, so him going on loan and starting 40+ games can only be a good thing for him. Watt too. I think Rogic is ahead of McGeough for the creative role and Watt is still 3rd/4th down the line for a strikers role.

McGeouch should be loaned out to the Dutch League to a team like Breda, Roda or Heracles.

Keep Watt and get rid of Stokes.

Watt probably won't be seeing as much first team football as he'd like so perhaps a good idea for him. On the other hand I reckon McGeouch could have a big part to play this year so I wouldn't like to see him be farmed out.

Watt needs to stay. If hooper leaves I'd say Watt is our best or atleast joint best striker at the club.

Glad to see this. A season of first team football will be excellent for their development.

Assuming Watt and Hooper both leave I would expect us to bring in at least one more striker this season and possibly another on loan.

If Watt is loaned and Hooper is sold we NEED to buy. I wouldn't be very confident with Stokes and Balde as our 1st choices.

As far as I can see Watt has done nothing to suggest that he's anywhere near as crucial as Stokes is to the team.

Watt is our 3rd best striker right now, despite his age. * sending him out on loan unless Lenny and Park have at least one cracker of a striker lined up.
Hooper might still stay, and Balde might turn out to be brilliant, but worst case scenario is Hoops leaves, Balde's *, and we loan out Watt. Then we're stuck with Stokesy - who's just came back from a serious injury - all season?

McGeouch absolutely has to go out on loan though. He needs to play in his proper position which is attacking midfield but he won't get in ahead of Commons and Rogic this season so we should find a club for him asap.

McGeouch, George, Irvine, McGregor, Fisher, Miller, Atajic, both Twardziks - all our good 18/19/20 year old prospects desperately need game time and they won't get it here.

Tony Watt being sent out on loan is a strange one. I think it has everyone mystified about what is going on behind the scenes.
