I think it would take atleast £9million for us to sell Wanyama. The type of Clubs who will want him will be clubs like Zenit, PSG, Spurs, Bayern, Dortmund, Arsenal, Milan, Roma, Inter, maybe Porto, Atletico etc

Its not like hes going to go to a team like Villa or Sunderland.

People would really be happy with £5/6M? We sold Ki for that and he didn't get a game.

On the other hand there is no way hes worth over £12M.

I'd be happy if we got £8M-£10M for him.

Bollocks, the club would never accept 7 mil.You putting him on a par with Ki?Wanyama is twice the player Ki is and turning into the 2nd name on team sheet behind Forster. The fans would be up in arms if we sold him for less than 10 mil.

if you keep twisting wanyamas head, he will be sold. He is getting quoted every other week in the papers. there is someone pushing for it, will he do good in the epl
he might, as he would have more time to make the first challenge but should he miss that one, he will not get another challenge in. As goals are scored from shots outside the 18 yard line down there.

Any 7 figure sums should be laughed at. I reckon he's worth at least a low 8 figure price. I'd hope a decent chunk of the fee is passed on to Neil if he's sold in January.

id genuinely be disappointed with anything below £10m. we might play in scotland, but why should we take anything lower? he is one of our best players, can play in 2-3 positions, performs well in the CL, has the potential to be world class and most importantly we dont need the money for financial reasons or to rebuild the team.

at this point ~10m for me. We have no reason to sell at this time and he has played well in CL. Good CL players seem to go for around 10m, so that's the number for me

I don't have the stats to hand but I'm sure the goals scored in the EPL are from much the same distance as in the SPL, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, 1. Bundesliga, Primeira Liga, etc., etc., etc. Not that it's even relevant.

He certainly won't go for less than £8m. I'd imagine he'll go for somewhere in the region of £8m-£12m if we sell him in January or at the end of the season depending on his performance in the CL. It's a shame we don't play in the EPL, he'd fetch £1,000,000,000 quite easily. :celt_2:

Hope we hang onto him for a few years yet, but I reckon Celtic would take £8m plus easily

Jordan Rhodes, Jay Rodriguez, those young ones Manure bought, plenty more I can't even be arsed to think of.

Wanyama could go for anything tbh, his potential is vast and it's just a matter of how long we hold on to him.

I think we should stop comparing ourselves to Championship and League 1 clubs. The quality of our respective leagues aside (debatable), we have next to nothing in common. We're the champions of Scotland, our finances are healthier than most English clubs, we're under no pressure to sell our best players and we're playing in the most elite football competition in the world for * sake. :smiley-laughing002: We won't, or shouldn't, have transfer fees dictated to us. Obviously we can't ask for silly amounts but the ball's pretty much in our court when it comes to demanding a fair amount of money for our top players.

It's going to be great business when Wanyama goes, considering what we picked him up for.

I think he has the potential to go anywhere he wants.

If he was playing for a EPL club, they would be talking about fee's above £20M for definite. It's a matter of when and not if he leaves, we can only hope there is a bidding war between a few big clubs because sadly, it's hard for us to demand really high fee's while Wanyama is playing up here in Scotland. His performances in the Champions League will be boosting his value though.

I would be unhappy with anything less than £10M and would be expecting £12M+ tbh.

8-10m easy. With a few more good games in europe that price will be cemented.
