If Wanyama comes out and is quoted directly as wanting to leave then I'll believe it.

Until then, The Daily Wankrag can * off.

As of an hour ago SkySports are reporting it

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7810161/Wanyama-open-to-move

"Celtic starlet Victor Wanyama is a target for a host of Premier League clubs and is hopeful of sealing a move to England this summer, Sky Sports understands.

Liverpool, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and West Ham United are all interested in landing the Kenyan midfielder.

Wanyama joined Celtic last summer from Belgian side Beerschot AC but his impact has been huge at Parkhead.

Celtic paid less than £1million for the 20-year-old but now a fee in excess of £6million is being talked about for Wanyama.

Clubs in Italy, Spain and France have all been impressed by Wanyama, but he is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

    Opportunities

Now Wanyama is ready to move from Celtic and his business manager Rob Moore has explained that he hopes the club would listen to offers if they came.

"That has been a lot of talk which is not necessarily true," Moore explained to Sky Sports.

"But he is like any other young talented footballer in that he wants to play at the highest level.

"He has made the club aware that if they receive an offer from one of the big leagues he would like them to consider it.

"He is not unhappy at Celtic, far from it - he loves the club and everything has been great for him since he moved but should something come in he feels they should listen.""

small piece in today's Sun saying that Rennes fancy Vic, if they sell M'Vila. Doesn't come as a surprise as he tore the same player a few a/holes during the game at Celtic Park. Doubt they will get him though, especially as soon as this.

Aslong as he doesn't want to leave to join a * club like QPR or west ham then fair enough.what good foreign youngster would want to hang about this joke of a league when teams from the most exciting league in the world want you.

With that amount of interest in him I would see if we could ramp his price upto £18m or so.

    Bidding war you * :bbpd:

Fantastic player but if he can be sold on for a large price then with how much players we have in the midfield he shouldn't be too missed.

6 mill is not enough considering the amount of money being spent on pure mediocrity down south.

My favourite player, I hope he doesn't go, but I knew it wasn't just me seeing how brilliant he's been this season. I think he could make it anywhere.

Any bid around the double figures mark needs to be grabbed with both hands for any of our players. His career could be ended tomorrow and realistically, £10 million sets us up and takes the pressure off financially going into Europe.

If we sell to one of these nothing clubs in the Premiership it has to be double figures or they can * off.

Upset if he does move on. No doubt his agent is trying to make him take the jump to the EPL ASAP. Could do with staying here for at least another two seasons.

The fees being banded about are pathetic. If he goes for anything under £10m, I'd be disappointed. Major prospect and I'm not surprised that EPL clubs have sat up and taken notice.

Tbh I hope Lennon has a word with him to tell him that this is the best place for him ATM.

Would be gutted if he did leave but i'd accept nothing less than £10m for him. When you see Jordan Henderson going for about £20m, £10m is an absolute steal for Vic.

Its not as if he's wanting to leave hes just saying he'd like us to listen to offers for him, obviously if we dont think the offers are good enough then we dont sell him. His agent says he loves the club so he wont be bothered if he doesnt leave this season. The big man's got ambitions to play in the EPL theres nothing wrong with that so good luck to him if it happens.

Wouldn't accept less than 12 million for him. We dont need to sell. And if players are like Henderson are going for 20 million then Vic is worth 15 easily.

Henderson, Carroll, Torres... Are all flops with inflated price tags, they were mistakes.

£12m hahaha, he's not exactly the complete player, if we could get anything near £5m we would be taking it considering we only paid £1m less than a year ago.

Hooper is the same, if we were offered £8m he would be away. This is great for the club, I'm all for selling and making a profit. We haven done it enough, only McGeady and Petrov really come to mind for selling at the right time. Everyone else we have let their contracts run down or they have never lived up to the season when they proved their worth.
