So about all this "Wanyama leaving, crisis at Celtic" pish we get every year but which comes to nothing, I'm going to point out that we get this every year and always comes to nothing.

Also, the press line is that Celtic are competing for the likes of Keith Andrews and League One players while our stars are off to the Premiership. Rangers, meanwhile, are on the verge of buying Gattuso and loads of established internationals at the Championships with Chucky Green's WARCHEST.

If that sounds credible to anybody, please go bash your head off the wall until your brain starts working again.

So that's Hooper and Wanyama already leaving apparently :56:

Just waiting for Kayal, Izzy, Ki, Ledley, Commons, Stokes all being sold by the Daily Record

Bunch of desperate pish merchants grieving that come Thursday they'll never be able to print gushing headlines about the Rangers "WARCHEST" ever again!! :icon_mrgreen:

Anything less than 12-15m and they can * off. Going to be a star is Victor but he can be replaced especially with that sort of money

if a offer around 7+ million came in it wouldnt be clever to keep hold of him.
we got him for 900k, and we have loads of young scottish talent aswell as too many midfielders as it is

think if we rejected 7 million then 2 years later he doesnt want to renew his contract with us, loose him on a free

Such as? Who in the team can replace Victor? He's been playing in midfield, in defence, you name it. He's 20 and already reminds me of Essien, which in my opinion is one of the best players in his position in the past decade. Don't get me wrong, he still has some way to go before he reaches hit full potential but once he gets there, he'll be right at the top with the best of them.

And who are these young Scottish players that could take his place?

Mate I totally agree. Wanyama is more accomplished than most pro's who are older. The lad is probably our best prospect. No way he'll be leaving for some lower EPL side when, imo, he has the potential for a top 4 side.

You don't seriously think they didn't make the squad because they weren't good enough? Stevie Wonder could see that the English FA wouldn't pick Rooney if he played in the SPL.

the defence would be a problem, but why cant mcgeouch gain himself a first team place?
a few youngsters getting a game if they have enough potential?
filip twardzik too. hes not scottish but he could make the step up if lennon has confidence in him!

if they offered around 4 million it would be a no. but to turn down silly money for a player is mad! he could play next season and be out of form and weve lost the chance for big money to loose him on a free down the line.

plus 7+ million isnt money we can afford to turn down, we could get a cheap replacement and have money to fund a decent striker etc, aiden mcgeadys transfer got us a good percentage of our current squad, if we get cheap players and sell them off for more it works in our favour later on

The Mail and Sun stories aren't mutually exclusive; could both be true; and I hope they are. He deserves a new deal. I don't want us to sell him unless it's silly money. That goes for any of our best players, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't believe the Record story for a minute, but I'm sure his agent's been touting him around. I hate agents.

Would never believe the Record. They're dying to print something bad about us because of all the bad press the huns are getting.

he's signed on for another 3 seasons. he's going nowhere unless if a silly 15m offer comes in.
wouldnt be surprised to see Ki be sold on for 8 or 9m though.
