    4.65 Euro an hour when i was 14 working in a play centre lol
    did about 10 hours a week

    i get £3.40 or £3.50 rughly now and my first wage was about 40 pound aswell
    pretty standard i guess

    15 when i started work, got roughly £550/month. Until i'm 27-30 i get a £500 pay rise every 6 months but it doesn't include promotions lol. They depend on how i get on i think. But not too bad!

    Martin Blacks wire ropes ,,,splicing 100ton ropes for tug boats to pull oil rigs out to sea ,1400 quid a month at 17 ,that was 27 years ago ,my last job i was only better of by 200 quid a month ,doesnt add up .

    1996 - about £400 a month - thought i was loaded! managed to spend most nights in the pub and eat takeaways everyday.... wouldn't even cover the rent these days¬!!
