    It's been said but I wish we had seen Wanyama and Virgil in the same team.

    Wanyama and Hooper back in this team and I reckon we would still be in the Champions League or on our way to the final of the Europa.

    We bought him for £2.6m, so it would be reasonable to suggest that we should be looking for offers in the £15m - £20m bracket for the guy in the summer.

    He genuinely has all the makings of a world class centre back.

    love him. upset we didn't get to see Wanyama in the same team.

    if he goes, i would like it to be to someone bigger than Southmpton.

    hopefully he does enough this season for Holland to take him to Brazil. wouldn't look out of place imo.

    It took Vic about a season and half to make the game here look too easy for him . Van dijk has took less than half a season :54:just need to enjoy this beast while we can he will be gone by start of next season i think .

    If we got £12m for wanyama we'll get at least £15m for Virgil, I'd rather keep him though, he is probably the first player since Larsson that has the potential to play for any team in the world.

    World class central defenders tend to be harder to find than world class midfielders though.

    Plus, as noted above, Virgil has settled in here much quicker than Wanyama did in his first season and also performed admirably at CL level. In Wanyama's first season here, 2011/2012, we were in the Europa League.

    Different class. As is being said, much better player than Wanyama and far more polished. Wanyama was still a bit raw...

    Hopefully we can keep him for another season or so. Best player we've had in a long time.
