    I thought Barca too.

He's getting some praise from Jamie Redknapp right now, saying he's a thoroughbred and if Man City signed him he would be the best player in the team :notworthy

Barca will make the move after he plays for Liverpool for a couple of years. Barca take from 'pool, who take from saints, who take from we. But we, are never, ever, ever, getting back together :fear:

Be * typical if we qualify for the CL and draw the team he's in.

I always thought it was amazing we signed him. Even in our league it was so obvious he was a naturally class footballer. How did no one else see it? Glad our scouts did at the time. Would be great if we got another couple of strokes of luck like him and Victor.

This time though when KT's time is up we'd make sure to sell straight to Liverpool for £30m and miss out the middle man Saints! :84:

Oh yeah and the feckers will be in for Sviachenko no doubt too but I hope he's another who's here for at least 5 years.

Simunovic looks like another one who is going to develop into a very classy player. The determination and calmness of head he displayed in making that pass for Rogic's goal was fantastic.

We have alot of assets at the moment, getting back to the time of Lenny when we always seemed to have a few valuable players who could go for millions

I'd say Dembele and Tierney are the only ones that could be viewed as 'assets'. Potentially Sinclair.

Criminal Man United are not signing him. He's exactly what they need & would be a good match.

+ i'd imagine big pete has the usual sell on clause with him & United like to buy players for 3 times the asking price, win win all round

Utd will take alot of years to get back on top if they ever do. No champions league this year drastically reduces the addidas deal too. They are *.

Always sign the big man on Fifa 17 career mode he's absolute quality and strolls through the games (And I play on Legendary mode :84:), chipped in with a couple diving headers from corners too.

Jeez oh that Fifa is starting to look spookily realistic. Folk will be watching players competing on that soon considering how boring some EPL matches can be. Ok maybe not but once Messi leaves the scene there will be a demand for some outstanding moves and it'll be the gamers who can produce them :giggle1: Mind you I don't think even Fifa programmers can code what Messi can do.

Hope there's a mega tussle for him and the price sky rockets..

More money for us if we've got the 10% interest..

I reckon we'd be looking at about 4 mill..

mn u are a sinking ship, just shows how good alex ferguson really was.they have spent no far off a billion and appointed two world class manager albeitstill early days for mourinho.

if luke shaw went for 34 million think van dijk might go for 40.southampton are really good a milking the bigger team plus they know they owe us a chunk so think thell squeeze as much as they can.

Cause Shaw is English though same with Stones, EPL willing to pay way over the odds for decent players since you need so many 'homegrown' players in CL and EL, when there's a lot better players around at lower prices.
But Virgil should be going for 40M looking at the current market, we have 10/15% sell on as well.

Not sure we'll get that much. But we'll still get more from the sale of a player who not longer plays for us, than Sevco would get for their entire first team :57:

Looks like he has a £25m buyout in his contract, not great for us as he could easily be going for £30/40m otherwise. Still though, £2.5-£3m for us isn't bad at all.

Any sort of extra money on top of what we already secured for him is a good bonus.

There's still the chance of a bidding war?

Strange that that's only just been publicly outed..

Surely that would've been known for some time? Yet the press and every * has been talking upwards of 40 mill for some time..
