Discussion on soccer Saturday saying he's worth closer to 50 than 30 million if he moves in January. Should be good for us if we've some sort of sell on.

 

He was world class against Liverpool on Saturday, easily in the top 3 in the premier league could play for any team and still look the part

 

Think it's almost certain he will be away in January,should bolster our kitty money for the January transfer market with the sell on clause we will recieve.

lol I wanted to name players of other positions but couldnt really think of who else was that good. I put in Aguero to start with then thought I couldnt mind the * playing well, then Hazard but he was * for ages before a recent purple patch.

Coutinho is a fabulous player. Love virgil but to compare them is difficult.

Liverpool will reportedly move for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk in January.

The Dutchman has fast established himself as one of the most solid centre-backs in the league since moving from Celtic.


According to the Daily Star, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp sees him as the man to help solve the Reds' problems with their leaky defence.

Van Dijk only signed a new six-year deal at St Mary's in the summer but Klopp is allegedly confident that he can convince him to switch the south coast for Anfield.

It is believed that he will make initial approaches when the January transfer window opens.

 

If Liverpool get vvd in january then that's them won the league.

 

I hate most English teams, but I suppose if I had to choose one it would be Liverpool. If Virgil signs for them I'll instantly support them

Liverpool would he a good team for him. Working under klopp will be good and he will get exposure. Big step up from southampton and offers a logical next step to a barca or real.

A lot of EPL fans I know rate him as the best CB in the league and one of the best in Europe.

 

We all said it and we all knew it when he was here that it would only be a couple of years before he was at a top team. Guy is class.

 

He's consistently had the highest match ratings' in Europe at CB alongside Thiago Silva

Definitely up there.

 

Aye, that website who rate players based on all the stats from games had him in the team of the year.



This season his rating is 7.41 in the EPL and 7.66 in the Europa League.

 

The three of them we telt them all about, forster wanyama and Virgil. All 3 proving that we were right. The next one to go south for big bucks will probably be sviatchenko, they can start bidding 15m now instead of the supposed accepted 10.
