    He's been in twice a week since he's been with us, phones ahead and goes down and picks them up. Talks away to the management and staff, he's just being a nice guy and it's hardly as if he said keep it a secret.

    10 years ago ? Wilson was * unreal at times. Very solid most of the time. I think people still judge him on that one mistake he did in an Old Firm. Can't believe you guys don't see how good he was.

    I think VVD is our best player.

    But on the other hand 11.5m is a good deal for us.
    With two years left in his contract, and if he doesn't want to extend his deal his value would be halved this time next year, with only a year left on his contract.

    If we don't improve in Europe in this group, would we even get half that figure next season.

    Take the money, sign a replacement. A left back to compete with izzy and a striker and build some momentum

    Its good value for an EPL team. They are getting a strong, technically sound, young defender who will break into the national team and has his best years ahead of him. Hes a ready made captain.

    He could end up making us almost £15m.

    Iv never been more confident that a player will be a success as I am about VVD.

    Sadly i think you are right that his fee will be used to compensate for losing out.

    I think we will sign the croatian center back and once more we will need to pin our hopes that we can develop another Virgil, Wanyama, Forster

    His attitude toward leaving has been stinking which is why I don't wish him the best and hope he gets exposed for the player he really is in the EPL the SPL made him look good, his European displays exposed him big time. * him if he doesn't appreciate being at a club like Celtic with that attitude about leaving then * HIM. Can understand wanting a big move but didn't have to be boasting in the papers and make it so obvious, *.
