I think Ronny is single minded enough that if its not 10m+ he will be staying put.

Let see how he handle our biggest test yet with Malmö home and away coming up.
The Malmö away game will decide what we get for him.
They are very strong at home and van dilk be under a lot pressure.
Let see can he keep defence together and organise back four against stronger attackers.

He would get into any starting line up in the premier league.

When was the last time we could say that about one of our players?

He will be an absolutely massive loss for us and I can only hope that wee get a good price on him and the board re-invest at least the majority of the money from his sale to strengthening the squad as a whole, with the money from his sale and potentially making the champions league we could be on to a right good load of income this year ( hopefully ) so I hope it gets put to good use and we dip into a market like the Swedish/Danish/Norwegian as much as I like the idea of signing good talent from Scotland I think there is a severe limit to the quality we need to succeed in Europe from our own nation, and signing players from abroad has found us Biton,Johansen Van Dijk and what not.

The big * is sheer class.

No doubt in my mind he'll go to the top of the game and he'll be a regular in the Dutch team.

Better than Wanyama for me. I think Wanyama is a tank and that night against Barca was special but VVD is something else.

I dunno, Wanyama still comes across as a big bumbling diddy. His passing is so suspect and his shots can be wayward and all over the place.

Virgil is big, strong, great technically, great pass and a beasting shot on him - a defender! He is calm and composed and plays with ease. What was it, 2012-13 Eredivisie team of the season when playing for Groningen aswell?

Guy will be able to play in all the big leagues no problem at all.

I think either club would suit him - I'm looking for a bidding war.

I believe the Southampton deal will be an easier one to get done (if it isn't in principle already).

I sure hope so. It should be. You can't have shitebags being bought and sold in that league for megabucks whilst our best players go for a lesser price.

VVD has to go for at least £15m. Especially is this John Stones lad is being touted for £25m. Ridiculous.

Some of the fees being reported (£8m for example) are ridiculous. I'd honestly rather let his contract run down than sell to one of they horrible * down there for that.

Can't believe Man United aren't in for him. They're stuck with Smalling and Phil * Jones.

Van Dijk would be Man Utd's best centre half.

Man United fans wouldn't allow that. They'd rather have * in their defence than admit one of ours in the 'pub league' is better than what they have.

The arrogance has no bounds and can hurt them but they care not.

The English transfer rush to spend all thier money that those lucky * get is just starting. So I hope we are hanging on for £20m...as those twats panic.
Everton will be £40m up from selling stones but we are being told they are lining up a 7m scoop for VVD. Football is a business we are constantly told, yes it is so Mr Lawell show us the other side to your buisness acumen and do a * deal that will allow us the money to replace him well! And buy a badly, badly required striker and you will still have money left to boast to the press about.

Van Dijk will go for 12-14, plus a sell on fee.

No chance it's 20 lads. It should be but it won't. It's great we have media guys hyping and comparing and if we get a bidding war with a Southampton or Everton, we are laughing. Optimistic, but you never know, we may squeeze 15 or a bit less with bonuses..

£15m would be a magnificent deal for the club, would much rather he stayed but unfortunately just not gonna happen, he had the cigars oot today in that game.
