    Aye but Gordon played his last game at Murrayfield and said goodbye to the fans, it was up in the air for a bit even after UEFAs decision.

    Couldn't expect FF or Southampton to wait just in case.
    We took the money.
    Around £19m profit for both I'll settle for that.

    I took that the other way..

    Coulda got more, possibly but it's not a * take. Biggest transfer ever, for a Scottish club received and let's not forget we only bought him for 900k, so we probably mugged the Belgian club more than Southampton mugged us..

    He's done well too, that goes for us in future sales for premium price..

    The price was fair for Wanyamas age and ability at the time. He has taken time to settle and wasn't an automatic first pick last season. Raised his game this season.

    A sell on percentage would be nice.

    Yeah, that is true.

    However, in the future I think teams are going to be reluctant to go over £12 million for our players. Kinda like how Porto can demand ridiculous prices because of their past dealings.

    I think if we had sold Wanyama for £18 million, we could easily demand £12+ million for Van Dijk.

    We done very well to get £12m for Wanyama, considering where we are. There are a few other nations who often get less for their star players but arguably have a better standard of league. Belgium a good example, Holland to a certain extent as well.

    We will also have a sell on clause don't forget, which depending on what he does go for, we could end up with another £2-5m on top of that £12m.

    Bossed it. Too easy for him.

    It's the same as when Wanyama was here. He's strong, aggressive and technically good. He and Big Vic made it look like they were playing against children at times.

    he makes it look even easier than vic did . It is genuinley like he is playing ten year olds, nobody can get the ball off him and he can take the ball off of people at will . Strong , quick, powerful , good with the ball at his feet. Everything you would want in a CB .

    It's true, most Scottish players can't cope with that physicality. Much more slight, overall here, so these specimen's stand out above all..

    He's ridiculously too good for this level.

    Will be a sad day when he goes as we look so assured at the back right now. I'd try our very best to convince him to stay for at least another season.

    If I could choose him or Wanyama....I'd honestly take Van Dijk.
