    Its been a transition period but he will hit the heights of his previous performances again, iv got every confidence in that. new manager, new playing styles, new defensive partner. You dont lose the class that he has easily.

    I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. If you were to tell me he would defo leave in the summer then I would say sell him in January a find his replacement and give him half a season to prepare for the CL qualifiers and no doubt a tougher challenge in the league bt at the same time I want him to stay for the Rangers semi final.

    Big Virgil was great today, very good finish for the winner too. The only bad thing is that he's a class above this league, just as Vic was. Shame he'll be out the door in the Summer because he's the type of guy you want in your team to compete at the highest level.

    Just so good, hope we show some ambition and break our wage cap to keep him if needs be. Him and Denayer are a fantastic CB pairing, feel so confident with the two of them playing for us.

    He is so classy, sick of saying it to be honest.

    Denayer was excellent today as well, put himself about and his timing of the challenge is impeccable! I hate to say it but it's unlikely both will still even be here next year, * help us when they do go. Will be hard to replace, would be good to try and get Denayer back for another year.

    I notice Arsenal are looking into another bid for Van Dijk, apparently made one in the summer.

    After the game him and Johansen are getting interviewed. Stefan has steam coming off him, hair all matted and stuck to his face with sweat. Virgil doesn't have a hair out of place. :smiley-laughing002:

    Denayers timing of the tackle is first class, just strolls out and doesn't go to ground and clamps the ball..
