Nice signing, too, considering he's came from Holland. Should be absolutely no issues adapting.

Balde will probably find it trickier and require more time and patience.

When they're playing the matches you can see Hooper and Ledley etc lying on the grass behind the net watching. Lazy * :56:

Hahahaha. Big van dijk looks like a defender you don't want to be marked off of. * me we signed some big lads.

Either John Park or Neil Lennon are doing a great job with buliding our squad. we have:52: great wingers at the club and with some more big target men, things will only get better. If you think about it, our set pieces were the cause of like 60% of our goals in europe I think. The % might be wrong but I remember it was a considerable ammount none the less.

Really hope we just sign a good striker and rotate him, wat, stokes and balde

Cause there's been nobody for him to cross at.

Big Balde will bring out the best in Forrest and Izaguirre imo.

...But give it a few weeks we'll be flying! :party048:

Balde showed a few nice touches there, so did Watt and McGeouch.

Hooper certainly didn't look like someone who is desperate to leave.

Must be great for players coming in and training there, especially the ones who played for smaller clubs.

He looked quite happy, looked like he wanted to be there.... maybe more crucially he was there, unlike Wanyama.

Samaras plays as a winger sometimes and was a key player for us in europe last season.

wouldnt really call him a winger, as in he doesnt cross the ball all that often or at all when he plays in that position,

jimmy forrest is our only natural winger, and the full backs are the closest after that

Aye yer right mate but samaras is primarily a left mid/winger when most people were led to believe he was a striker. We all know he is * as a striker. As for winger, He's not the best crosser but he's got the strengh and has enough skill to get past defenders ... and I believe a lot of goals have came from nice wee low crosses from samo this season. He's defo a better left mid/winger than he is a striker n that's for * sure.

But aye yer right, izzy is our main crosser from the left but his forms not been up to much recently.
