    Virgil van Dijk!

    CELTIC are delighted to announce that defender Virgil van Dijk has joined the club from FC Groningen.

    The Dutch Under-21 internationalist has signed a four-year deal with the Scottish Champions, and he becomes the latest player to join Neil Lennon´s squad during the close season following the arrival of striker Amido Balde from Portuguese side, Vitoria Guimaraes.

    Virgil van Dijk will be officially unveiled at Celtic Park this afternoon at 2.45pm.

    Just from articles I've been reading, he's suppose to be a great defender and has loads of potential. Great signing. Honestly very happy with how celtic are moving forward.

    I wonder if they're gonna hold on to hooper and wanyama untill the qualifiers are over. That would be ideal, that way by august we would have already bet 2 teams in our qualifiers and could tempt the key players to stay for champions league football.

    I read that celtic have accepted a 10 million bid for wanyama. Is this true?

    And can someone explain how bidding wars work?
