What's your flights mate? I'm struggling to get anything below £270 return.

My sister in law owns a flat in a wee coastal place called Oropesa, she is giving it to me if I can make it out!!! It's only 30 minutes from the stadium.

Too good an opportunity to miss out on I think.

We're flying @ 09:20 from Edinburgh on 29th to Alicante. We fly back on Wednesday morning @ 06:40. Is anyone else on these flights? Would anyone be able to shed any light how we can from the ground to Alicante in time for our flight aswell lol, im not sure what time the trains/buses stop at over there, might need to be a taxi.

Whats the ticket situation like asewell? Whats the chances of getting a couple? How many will we get?

Thanks a lot for your post and welcome to talkceltic.

anyway, all of us at Celtic are proud to be friends with Villareal and that's why many thousands of Celtic fans will be travelling to Villareal to have a party with our friends... hopefully, there will be around 15,000 Celtic fans who make the trip...

Very Very rough estimate from my uncle mate.. he works in a high up role in Glasgow Airport and after the CL draw, around 5,000 bookings were made for flights either direct from Glasgow or via another city to that part of Spain around that match day (including the Thomas Cook packages). He said there's also been around 5,000 booking from other BAA airports to the same areas for the same dates... and yeah, that's not including Ireland or the brave hundreds going on coaches and Celtic fans from out-with the UK going.. so 15,000 seems like a logical estimate :50:

He's still got a job but the shitloads of free shares they gave him in BAA as bonuses will be losing quite a bit of value lol...

But he says the amount of flights will increase, but the prices will decrease so it's looking good...

If anybody is desperate for tickets.. you could always buy a season ticket for Villareal, CL games are included in it and you could pass it on after the game or keep it and get a cheap flight over for the Barca or Madrid games etc.

There season tickets are only around 150 euros.. which is what some people paid for Barca away...
