Fair enough but we say we can not afford big wages this just seems a waste of wages when we have more midfield cover than any position,
the money should go towards givens wage or bellers wage someone who will make a impact not someone who will be a bit player and wont stay if he is not getting first team action just seems that the positions we need are not proirity ?:97:

I don't no why your being so negative about this guy, I've only heard good reports so I'm pleased we are getting new blood in and hes the right age as well.

There will be player coming and going yet and I'm 100% confident we will sign a GK, Target man and a CB.

I think it would be daft for Lenny to blow his transfer budget on players who command big wages.

Where does it say his wages? Doubt he'd be on big wages, only 19. PLus it looks like Juarez will be off soon so that frees up 7.5k p/w.
You can't pass up opertunites to sign good players just because it's not a priority. Patience is what is needed and I've got a sneeky feeling we could be up 3 players by next weekend, or before Australila tour.

I'm sure lennon knows what he is doing and will bring in players HE wants, not who the fans want.

glad a fee has been agreed. he won't be on much wages but we must ship out the deadwood. we're blessed/crippled with too many midfielders.

going along with reports of this guy, central options of Kayal, Ledley, Ki and Wanyama is outstanding.

Not happy with forster bid think the hard work of the midfield made him look good and i know he has potential but to be fair we dont have time in europa and spl for a keeper to get better :38:

We don't have time for a keeper to get better?

Tell you what if he goes here next season, gets better and equals his clean sheet record from last season then I'm delighted.

He had more Clean Sheets than Hooper did goals fs.

so your happy with him as keeper then ?
na not a chance not good enough and as i said i think the midfield had alot to do with the clean sheets as they where outstanding at keeping the ball but thats only my opinion:84:

That's a black or white statistic mate........

the grey part is the hard work of his defensive unit, coupled in with the fact that most attackers in the SPL are *.....

And most defenders in the SPL are * and was the hardwork of the team to make they goals as well.

Cleansheets are harder to get than goals generally.

    I would disagree mate...

IMO most teams come to CP defensively minded, and most teams are harder to break down. So for me SPL teams (well most) defences are better than the attackers.

Anyway, why the * are we talking about Forster in the Wanyama thread? :97:

Wanyama could be our CB. I believe he has played there. If he can justify the general impression of African players being physically imposing, then he'll be good for us.

its a struggle now with villa in the race. everyone in kenya is premier league mad.

the only hitch would be his permit. his brother couldn't join city last year because the epl can only sign players from countries over 80 in the rankings and kenya are 123rd or something.

please come to celtic. we're a bigger club than villa any day.
