We've made the last 16 three times in the last 6 years, due to more than a "couple" of impressive wins.

The reigning Champions of both England and of Europe who you speak of both failed to surpass as in the Champions League last season.

He might not get to show it either. Being linked with moves back to Italy, Dortmund and Atletico Madrid:56:

Look man. Celtic have reached the last 16 3 times in the last 7 seasons. What happened last season wasn't just ''due to a couple of impressive wins. You can't play our record in the CL down. Beating Man city is not that impressive. Look how they fared in the CL.

No, we don't. Basing your opinion of of highlights is different than watching them week in, week out.

So watching 5 to 10 minute highlights on Match of the Day is the same as watching the whole game?

He is a good player so I wouldn't be surprised if he went to a big club who win things.

To reach the last 16 of the Champions League you need about 10 points in the group stage. That is 3 wins against good sides per season. Impressive wins yes, but only 3 wins. Your bread and butter games for the rest of the year is then Partick Thistle, St Mirren, Ross County, Inverness, Dundee.

Southampton racked up 3 impressive wins vs Chelsea (reigning European Champions), Man City (reigning English Champions), Liverpool and drew with Chelsea away. Lots of teams can pull off the occasional big win.

3 wins in 6 games is harder than 3 impressive wins in a whole league season.

3 wins at a much, much higher level than what is played in the Premiership.

Surely Wanyama never said that, why would a 21 year old care about missing out on money when he will earn millions in years to come, also the fact that he'd want Cardiff over Southampton, when he could walk into the Arsenal team is a joke

His agent is obviously a money grabbing *, like most agents

Who the * cares who's better? It's completely irrelevant as Southampton are never going to play in the Champions League...

No I have watched at least six full Southampton games. Four of which were after Pochettino took charge. So I do have an idea of how you play and the standard of your players.

He even admitted when he first signed for them that money was the main reason. If that was the main reason for players signing for us I would want them to get to * personally.

Doesnt it show how good we are though that we can raise our game from playing Ross County and Dundee to beating Barcelona?

We would never get pumpings like 6-1, 5-1, 4-1 and 3-0 off teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, West Brom, Leeds and West Ham.

I see your point but you may well be fighting off relegation again next season. We will be playing in Europe (in some form) and those games are the big attraction to Celtic players. You mentioned some pretty small SPL sides. There are still games against the likes of Aberdeen, Dundee United, Hibs and Hearts. You may not know much about those sides but they are big clubs. Even by championship standards. The likes of Aberdeen and Hearts are bigger than QPR and Norwich.

Then why have you missed out Vegard Forren and Dejan Lovren?

Why have you listed Lallana as an attacking midfielder when he plays out wide?

Why have you listed Rodriguez as a striker when he often plays out wide?

Has Hooper really proved himself to be better than Lambert?

Yes, Hooper has played and scored in Europe, but then Lambert has scored vs Man Utd, Man Ciy x2, Liverpool, Chelsea x2. Lambert outscored Hooper in both League 1 and the Championship. Lambert was the top scoring English striker in the English Premier League and created more chances for others than any other Premier League player.

Put Lambert in the Celtic team and he'd score a hatful of goals in the SPL, as he did in League 1, Championship and Premier League.
