You've just plucked probably the top 3 teams in Europe/world right now...
He's not ready for that jump right this minute...

But the milans, liverpools, monaco's,Dortmund, arsenal even man city just off the top of my head he would slot in nicely..

Jockland, that word that's used so flippantly and when used in a derogatory way when talking about us especially from English club fans gets me the worst..
Usually clueless * as his post testifies!

You are going to read that sort of stuff on any forum about any team tbh.

The only thing you will get reading other teams forums is a * aneurysm from winding yourself up.

Indeed - someone said he'd 'stroll into the first XI for any team in Europe' so I thought I'd start with the most ludicrous propositions.

Anyway, enough of that as it's rather silly. I'm off to Glasto on Wednesday so probably won't see this unfold. Hope to hear some good news while I'm there though, we'll see.

I should probably reiterate that I'm surprised and very excited that we might be able to sign a player like this. Don't think I'm taking it for granted!

Stay Vic, you'll never have it so good as you do up here.

Stay and tear up the CL again and you will get your dream move.

Just sign a * one year extension and soak up the adulation.

    you know it makes sense.

Would need to see him perform consistently and stand out at a higher level than the SPL before deeming hes good enough for europes top teams, like it or not southampton would give him that chance, or any other run of the mill EPL club.

Says the one playing some gimmick on an internet forum :smiley-laughing002:

On topic though, I hope Victor signs a contract and stays, even if just for one more year.

Whenever someone slates a player because of the league he's in, they automatically become a * in my eyes.
There has never been a good Celtic player who's left the SPL and done well in England has there?

Larsson, Petrov, Maloney, Di Canio....... Plus McGeady left for big bucks and has done well in Russia.

Infact even quite a few * players have gone and been successful in England i.e. Charlie Adam & Jos Hoiveld.

Even though it's embarrassing and annoying that a small team like Southampton are able to bid for our best player, in the long run it will make us more money. We will definitely have a sell on percentage clause in the deal and lets be honest if he impresses at Southampton he is more likely to make a big money move compared to joining Arsenal where you can imagine him staying for a good few years if he impresses.

This. If you were to list the players playing in the BPL right now who had previously played in Scotland I think most would be surprised.
