Unless it's being reported by either Sky or the BBC, I doubt it.

There's no guarantee of real madrid or similar though (the group stages of the champs league have been platini'd). With us he's guaranteed man united, chelsea, man city, liverpool etc twice a season, so while we're playing them you'll be up against st mirren, ross county and partick "on a wednesday night"

I hear what you're saying but it's not all talk no walk with cortese - we had one of those infamous 5 year plans to get back to the prem in league one; we did it in 3. I realise going from midtable in prem to european places is a different animal but I think such an ambition does carry more weight given what's happened with our current owners to date.

Just out of interest, what's the general fan feeling (I know that's a difficult thing to summarise!) on you guys joining the english league? I'm amazed rangers didn't test the waters on a possible move after what happened to them

In any case, and however this turns out, good luck for the coming season

We would welcome it to leave the bigoted sfa and all the injustice that has been done to us and we would get more money, but we would also sell our champions leageu place and could end as the money throwing clubs(owned by just one rich person) in the epl that we despise

Sick of all these rumours now.

Some English fans are so arrogant and disrespectful towards us it really angers me. It also makes me hope that if he does leave he doesnt go to the EPL.

    Nice name :97:

First off your right, but we as a club who do everything by the book can't do anything about the rest of the league and the cheats who have helped ruin it(the ones running the game and the ones who were liquidated),all we can do is whats infront of us and there's not much right now and that's where Europe comes into play,it's our big attraction at the minute playing champions league football that most in the prem will never do also celtic itself believe it or not is still a household name worldwide but without the massive influx of TV revenue..

You have done well as you say from league 1 to the prem in 3 years especially as the championship is notoriously hard to get out of,from now on with your ambitious wealthy chairman I can't see you struggling relegation for a good few years I think you'll be a comfortable mid table side for a few years...

You might remember last season newco(rangers) were trying to get thereselves into the conference in England but were told in no uncertain terms 'NO' flat out!

Our old firm tag has now gone, for the 1st time in years we have seperate sponsors(they struggled to get any, puma,Adidas that were supposed to apparently weren't ever going to),reason I'm bringing this up is we would always come as a package and be mentioned rather as a package sponsors, moving to England or European league but not now they have died and reformed...

If it does happen which I think it will dont know when but someday sky will want us down when a lot of your
    Stoke v fulham
    Norwich v hull
Crystal palace v west brom games stop getting the interest and I may be wrong but If it did happen I'd hope we came down in our own right...

By the way the support is split there's pros and cons on moving down anyway, yes there would be big money and fixtures to be had buy also losing our identity or having the inevitable sugar daddy who uses us as a play thing would alarm a lot of our support,it's a tough one

Ross County and St Mirren are decent sides, and Thistle are a local derby against a proud, newly promoted team.

Your fans seem very positive about the future, and you look to have a good young manager. I'm sure you'll be fine with or without big Victor. :50:

As to joining the EPL, not for me mate. We're a Scottish team, and once the novelty had worn off, we'd think 'what have we done?'. A lot to lose and not much to gain from where I'm sitting. The board probably have a duty to improve revenue so they will push it, I hope the English league remain firmly against.

A quote from the link on the previous page:

Wanyama told Goal: "I am currently enjoying my deserved holiday."

It says on that newspaper article that he flew to England yesterday.

    Someone is telling porky pies................

Why would he even consider going to Southampton?

Southampton are the type of team you quick sim games against on FIFA because they're that *.

I don't understand what's going on here, all the papers have him saying that he's on holiday but he was pictured at training this week.

I'm no whizz kid but when it comes to maths, but I think they are even talking * when it comes to these quotes:

"Celtic are in line to make a £10m profit on the Kenyan international who they signed from Belgian club Beerschot two years ago for just £900,000."

Yet they are saying we are selling for £12.5m?
