Like i said last night there is nothing official and if there was because its a huge transfer between brittish clubs it would be all over sky sports news - there will be interest thats for sure but nothing is done or close to being done that is one lot of *

 

I was just thinking the same thing. I tried scrolling through this thread to find confirmation but that was about as useful as a poopie flavored lollipop.

 

Because its harder to replace goals than a midfileder, i would think the vic money will be used to keep hooper if we can.

 

I agree this is a big transfer between two British clubs well into double figures,sky sports would be the first to run the story..
There's definite interest that's obvious but is wanyama not on holiday and doesn't even know of a bid just interest I'm sure he was quoted as saying?

I'd be very surprised if we agreed to the first concrete bid this window when our board well know they could get a high bidding war between clubs..

Also...If you notice the last couple pages I've put my opinion in on the ACTUAL SUBJECT of this thread, which is victor wanyama, and his future. Not the size of the clubs.. Why we have to have a my clubs bigger than your club argument every time we meet an EPL teams fans I don't know.

 

Fair enough I just thought 'argumentative *' was abit strong considering we had numerous Southampton fans on discussing one of our players who looks like he's going there in the wanyama thread,it's only natural after a few of there comments not all that there was going to be a reaction like there would be if we went on there's saying there a tin pot club and we could sign shaw and Ramirez and they could be our feeder club!

If the money's right for all he will go there,he should stay with us another season for another crack at Europe instead of fluttering about mud table in England and then go but it looks more likely that won't happen
