Think he's being a bit silly to be honest. If he stayed another season and does well, he could easily get a move to a better team. Spurs isn't exactly a step up.

Bigger Club with a manager he knows and who trusts him.

Spurs are 100% a step up.

Yeah only going on the African born people I've met through uni but they all seem to be pretty money orientated, way more than most Scots at least. My bird (also Kenyan) said the other week that her family/friends back home always told her to marry for money cause you can learn to love anyone. :icon_mrgreen: No exactly reassuring considering I've no got a pot to * in and despite graduating 2 months ago, still no closer to a * job. :smiley-laughing002:

Will really hurt Southampton if he goes. That central midfield suddenly looks ordinary. Last year they replaced well, this year, I can see them mid table and no more..

Ideally it's a 20%. Same goes for all the other players we've sold on.

Could make a big bit of money on the side from them moving on:

    Wanyama
    Forster
    Ki
    Ledley
    Matthews
    Hooper

I don't think it's just a matter of paycheck. I'm sure he's wanting to improve himself by going to a club capable of challenging nearer the top of the English league. Arsenal/Spurs are an improvement on Southampton, no doubt about it.

Was looking forward to seeing Virgil, Forster and Wanyama play in the same team.

He's being a bit of a * with this transfer saga but not caring from a Celtic point of view as means a million or so for us :50:

Not in the Southampton squad for today's game... looks like it's going to happen.

We going to make 2m from this are we?

Yes but I'm basing it on if he goes for 20mil,which is the rumoured figure.

We get 10% of any sale.
