There was an interview with Scott Brown, and he got asked something like "What team mate annoys you the most and why?" and he said Wanyama, because he rag dolls everyone despite never using weights in the gym.

Sorry it was all an illusion.

He was great tonight and worth 30 million.

Hopefully I won't dream up another * thread in the morn.

Watch more games of him then, not just 45 mins and base it on that. His performances against Arsenal and United the past couple of weeks will show exactly why he is worth every penny he went for and some

I'm convinced. Forget all that he done for us and how he has played this season and base his value on a half of football.

    You are onto something Jay.

Edit. Not onto something, on something I meant, probably glue. :smiley-laughing002:

I wish we still had big Victor. He was a brute in the middle of the park.

Some fans sing a Guidetti song to the tune of one of the songs out the Lion King, canny mind the words though.

Did we put a sell on clause in? Spurs sniffing around and he would like to work with Mauricio again if Sky Sources are to be believed

Would be a tremendous signing for Arsenal.

I think he could play for any side in the Premiership just now, even Chelsea or United.

United because he and Schneiderlin dovetail perfectly and Chelsea because he's the type of destructive, powerful, centre mid that Mourinho has always liked.

Spurs using stats to decide whether to buy him or not

"Southampton averaged 1.47 points per game last season but that jumped to 1.58 when Wanyama started and dropped to 1.28 when he didn’t. They conceded on average a goal every 121 minutes when he was on the pitch and that dropped to every 57 minutes when he didn’t play."

I will like us to do the same will players ,Brown's would be interesting as we don't seem to play well without him.

I'd be stunned if we didn't. Think wvery club does with anyone they develop for more than a couple of years now

Reading Southampton forums and most expect him to leave for a low-ish fee due to the contract situation, kind of similar to Clyne. Some saying as low as £12m but realistically about £15m. Although many suggesting he could be handed a new contract making him the highest earner - whatever that is.

Futile though because it seems he has his sights set on the end goal - Arsenal.

Alot of them saying players playing hardball the past few years and due to the way they handled Schneiderlin, players will now get ideas.

I don't rate him as highly as some on here, he's too sloppy and bumbley on the ball. His passing is suspect at times too. Alot of growing to do.

I was going to ask the same about a sell on clause, surely we must've done that.

Hope we do likewise with VVD too.

20% sell on with Wanyama, wouldn't go for less than £20M I imagine so nice wee £4M for us :50: One of the most reliable defensive midfielder's you could get, him and Schneirderlin were a great partnership.

I genuinely don't believe we got any sell on clause.

Maybe at a push we might have gotten 10% of anything above and beyond £12.5m.

I don't know if we did or didn't but I think virtually everyone seems to assume we do in all transfers and its usually always 20% that is quoted :smiley-laughing002:

If we do get a sell on clause in transfers, are we also suffering from then when we sell a player on as well.
