    Please.

Let's reserve judgement until we see how he plays on a rainy Monday night in Stoke. :86:

I hope this is the case,if we haven't got some sort of 20% sell on clause then that's incredibly stupid on our part, and our board have been pretty shrewd in the last few years especially so we must have..

We should make at least 3 mill from vics next move

Is it in people's mindsets that the ONLY market we can sell our players to is in England or something?

Wanyama, he'll end up at a Man United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or Barcelona in the next 2 or 3 years I'd imagine.

Im a Celtic supporter and I'm grateful for what all the players did when at our club.

Our club now succeeds on buying players like Victor and then selling him on so we can operate within our means.

I want to see him do well and check the results every week to see how quite a few players get on.

England isn't the only market we can sell to, but it is likely to be the most profitable.

Many clubs looked at Wanyama and Hooper but not many wanted to pull the trigger too scared that they wouldn't make the step up to the EPL.

If those two do well this year, teams are likely to have more confidence in the future to pay good money for our players.

It's in our best interests they do well.

No but it is certainly our main.Who ever we sell to though in the next couple of years Wanyama,Hooper and Wilsons performances in England will be looked at.If Wanyama flops in England but was a cracking player for us teams will be alot more reluctant to spend much on our players unless we surpass last years heorics in Europe which will be very difficult

Paul Merson said "No disrespect to Southampton, but if Wanyama plays like that every week he'll be going to a champions league side"

He came from a champions league side..

We knew he was good enough already Paul, he should really be at one right now but it is only a matter of time. I give him this season at Southampton if he continues his rate of progression, then he will be off.

I see they've swiftly forgotten that he was bought from the SPL. A 'pub league' player bossing the bestest league ever? Who would have thought.

It * me off hearing them lauding the Southampton scouting team. Aye, players who play in the last 16 are really unknown..

It's the market we can get the most money out of, even for our back ups.

This thread makes me sad... the only thing that makes me feel better is he will never play at a club as great as celtic again.

Yeah, I remember hearing that when he was still with us. He ended up at Southampton.

Everyone creaming themselves over his performance today, makes me happy and sad at the same time.

Have to say that seeing big vic, and boruc, run out and perform brilliantly for Southampton made me a bit emotional. Wish they were both still here. I'm deffo gonna support the saints this season. Vic is such a beast, we could've really got 20M for him if the board weren't such pushovers.
