How reliable is that guy on Twitter though? Never heard of him before now.

It was also some freelance journo on Twitter that said a few weeks ago we were going to unveil Drogba at a press conference later that day.

Only reason Man Utd will bid for Vic now instead of the summer would be another club putting an offer in and if he was in danger of moving .

The way this is all going, I'd be delighted if just manage to keep Forster, Hooper and Wanyama until summer. I've already resigned myself to losing at least two of them then, but to lose all three now would be a total disaster. In saying that, I think Wanyama is the one we could fill in best for against Juve.

The midfield is one of our strongest areas, with Kayal able to come in for Wanyama, although at this moment in time Kayal won't be able to quite fill the void Wanyama would leave.

While Kayal is a very good player, more aggressive than Big Vic in the tackle he lacks the physically imposing attributes Victor has, i very much doubt Vic would have been so easily shoved off the ball like Kayal was in the Spartak Moscow home game against Emineke.

We definitely need Wanyama in there in the midfield against Juve, he is the only one in midfield who has the raw strength to outmuscle Asamoah and Vidal.

Was his worst performance in a Celtic shirt i think from Wanyama in his whole time here today. He looked like he couldn't be arsed like the other 10 players on the pitch.

Harsh, I think he did what he had to do well. Simple passing.

Certainly not saying it was a good performance, just think other players around him made him look worse. How he was pushed off the ball by some players today, I'll never know. Thought him and Kelvin were gona scrap at one point, the communication between the two was not good!

He didn't even get close to McGinn or McGowan all game, was beat in the air many times and didn't exactly come out on top of the physical battles with Newton, poor performance.

I've never seen him look as week as he did today, there was one point where the young lad McGinn almost sent him to the floor, the guy is built like a matchstick compared to vic ffs. Was also poor in the air. His worst display in a celtic jersey for me
