Doesnt matter who where or what your playing against. If youve got ability your worth money and Wanyama is a £10million+ player.

Messi could join Hamilton Accies in January and would still be the best in the world.

It was inflated back then also. Its not changed much since. Petrov was at his peak and had already proved how good a player he was and we still only got £6m for him. Who says Man Utd , city and Arsenal are all lookng at him?? Its funny how when we are linked to a player on here 99% of people say its a lot of * and just lazy journalism yet when a paper says top teams are looking at him when there is no evidence of that at all yet its taken as a fact they are watching him. Hes not the next powerhouse African midfielder. Hes just a bog standard physical raw African midfielder. M'Villa is a far better player than Wanyama. Looked average in our "games" against Rennes. Possibly because i dont think he played in the 1st game as Rennes rested 8 players that night, but nobody likes to mention it was their second string that night for some reason.

Why is Celtic not for me?? Because i have an opinion that differs from yours?? I know enough about football to know that if a player cant pass a ball, constantly gets caught on the wrong side, puts rash challenges in continually and picks up stupid booking regularly then he aint going to be a great centre mid. How many bids have we turned down for him?? What was that?? None !!! Yes none!!! Obviously impressing all these big teams who are lining up to bid fortunes for him.

It does matter though when it comes down to what your worth. Steven Fletcher was worth £4m scoring goals up here. Hes now been bought for £14m after scoring goals in the premiership. Do the maths

Steven Fletcher didn't have a great scoring record up here.

M'vila is being touted to go for about £20m, Rodwell went for a reported £15m, why should we accept a measly £7m for a guy who has the potential to go on to become one of the best players in his position in European football. The ball is firmly in our court here, and if one of the richer teams want him, they'll have to pay for him

Don`t know why people keep arguing with this clown. Just ignore him

Anyway, unless its 10m+, United and City can go * themselves

Also, at just 21 years of age Vic already has more experience than alot of the dross who play for the bog standard EPL team, i.e Wigan, Norwich etc. He has Champions League, Europa League, SPL, Belgian league, more than 21 caps for his country, he's already proven himself at the highest level, but just because he hasn't played in the promise land of the premier league means we should ignore everything else he has done .

This guy will make us a fortune in time, hopefully we can keep him for a few years yet though

M'Villa plays at a higher standard as does Rodwell. Firstly nobody has offered a measly £7m as we would bite the hands off anyone who offered that. Has the potential to be one of the best players in his position??? Says who??? There is no big teams wanting him, they will take 1 look and walk away. Hes simply not good enough.

try watching him closely and not through green tinted specs. Just watch him in the champions league games and you will see a player so far out of his depth its unreal.A centre mid who cant pass the ball???

The evidence is scouts have been to watch them and it's not Scottish papers just pulling a name out a hat because the transfer window is about to open and the transfer market is completely different when did players at that time move for 40-80 million. I beg to differ m'villa is an average player who is hyped by french press he also he played in one of the games and got sent off. Wanyama is far from a bog standard physical midfielder he is a great reader of the game and with his presence alone he bosses midfields similar to toure and essien he obviously isn't at that level yet but he will be one day

I'm not saying for a minute he has arrived but if you have watched football for long enough you can tell when someone has all the ingredients to be a top class player.

Judge him in a couple of years but mark my word I will be very surprised if he doesn't make it as a top class player.

Not a chance would we take £7m for him. The standard of football shouldn't really matter though, you are paying for the player, not what league he has previously played in. Wanyama absolutely bullied M'vila, to the point where he got himself sent off, made him look like a young kid, learning his trade in the game.

It's my opinion and I stand by it. Not yet, but there will be in the near future, come January he will be touted with a move away left, right and centre.

On what basis is he not good enough? He was outstanding in our first game against Benfica, was excellent against Spartak, had a great second half of last season as soon as he made his mark on the team. I can guarantee, as long as he is fit and available, he will be one of the first names on the team sheet for our big games (champions league, Europa league etc).

I really don't get how you can be so negative about absolutely everything

    Out of his depth :56::56::56::52:

Aye he definately looked out of place when he and Broony dominated against Benfica, and when he helped to set up our first in Moscow.

Diara, Essian and the rest come to mind, when I think about big vic. Nobody really heard of them until a big club with big players signed them up. Big vic is worth more than Essian, as Essian played in the French league, as hardly anyone knew him and was well older than Vic when he signed for Chealsea.

Victor is worth the double of Essian, and if the club sell him for less we will all be watching the greatest dmf who got away for nothing, he is our player and should stay our player unless big money comes in.
