    genuinely gutted. i love Vic the Brick and deserved a bigger club, which no doubt he'll get next Summer or the Summer after that. i do feel the rumoured £12.5m is a bargain for them but we can't complain considering we bought him for under £1m.

    i wish him nothing but the best.

    i hope the board backs Lennon all the way now with his fee. we want improvement. that's the whole point of this model. buy cheap sell big.

    It is a bid saddening to see him go but in the model we are currently using this has to happen.

    We need turnover of players to keep making money so we can constantly improve the team. 900k for 12.5M thats incredible business. We started this off with Ki 2M for 6M.

    If 3/4 of the money is given to Neil to really buy some quality players then we will soon forget the void that has been left by Big Vic the Brick, i wish him well and i hope he remembers who gave him the stage and the microphone to voice his talents.

    Well, to me anyway, that's a bit strange. So you don't care if former Celtic players go on to bigger and better things or completely flop?

    Very strange. Players like Wanyama, Ledley, Wilson etc. deserve some appreciation if they move on, they served us well even for just a short time and proved to be good players.

    Its soul destroying to see our best player leaving for a nobody club who are rich just cause they play in a big League. Depressing to even think of the SPL and us trying to compete with these team in the future.

    We all knew he was going but when I saw that Celtic confirmed it on their website a little bit of me died inside, I don't see any possible way of replacing him unless we splash out! All the best big Vic!:shamrock:

    It's been confirmed that there's a sell on clause, this makes it better for us that he moved to Southampton because he'll inevitably be sold to a better club whereas if a better club had bought him, he might have been there permanently.
