thats the problem! we seem * bent on getting cl money or a good run in europe altogether! we need to get our league sorted to attract the financial interest in hope to get better money then think about european money.

Its a right knock on effect and as we cannot predict the future state of our club on and off the pitch, we have to give everything in the current moment.

Such a fine line, point made about finish 4th in CL group. We done so thanks to a ridiculous 2 defelected own goals in Aalborg remember. Otherwise we would have stayed in Europe for at least a little longer. May lead to financial benefit

The board do as well as they can. Some managers don't work out...even at the worlds top teams

Exactly! When we play televised away games at Hamilton say, we have to pay about £27. The camera during the game looks in at the home crowds....not even a quarter full. If they started charging less...they get more punters....more punters...better the game looks...better the game looks, the more attractive it is for players to want to pay here

Ridiculous to pay £27 for Hamilton.

Part of being an OF fan.

Incidentally, how much would Celtic charge Hamilton fans ?

In terms of recent years taking that £500 and using it to take the kids out at the weekends I know which would be better value for money and what would be more entertaining.

I think you are 100 % correct mate with that statement.

However that was not really the question.

No way is the football we have been seeing value for money. I know the club is being run in the right way which will ensure that we don't end up in a mess like the huns anytime soon

However as person, each and every1 of us has the right to stand with our 500 sheets ( which is alot of money to a large amount of people right now) and think is this really worth 500 pound a year.

Or would that £500 give me more happiness if spent on something else , or could it help my family through some rough financial times.

Because right now what we have given football wise recently has been no where near valve for money

oh of course. I'm not for 1 minute saying everyone will think its value for money compared to other things. Thats their call though. What i do disagree with is the "club ripping us off" garbage. That is simply not the case.

What the fans want costs money therefore they have to spend money.

Yes we were unlucky but again if it had not been due to the downsizing we would of had a better quality of player that would have 1) been able to hold out against such a poor team rather than capitulate or 2) score more than 1 goal against them and never have been in that situation in the last 15 mins in the 1st place

No gurantees of that. Clubs spend millions every season down south and win nothing. Its too risky for us as we dont have the tv money to dig us out!

I was meaning just more down the lines that the players this season was just so poor.

We were just unlucky that we got a manger who was just not right for the clubs and brought in the wrong players and sold the wrong players.

The board have to take sum blame for this but its always a gamble if a manger will be a success or not.

However if lennon can get the players performing. bring in players here and there (does'nt need to b mega buck signings). just guys that will always give a shift and a performance i am hoping things will start to look alot more value for money

The board are accountable at every club and every club appoints the wrong man at some point. No manager gurantees success.

WGS gave success then had a total capitulation in his final 6 months.

Lets be honest! The majorfactors in the downfall of this league is the decision by most SPL boards to take on the Setanta deal(look how that has turned out), and aslo its league setup(SPL Slit! ridiculous idea)
