But if we downsized the season ticket, there would be even less money to spend. And the quality on the park would be alot worse.

Thats means that people will moan again, so the board are in a no win situation.

Nonsense. Lawell didn't get a bonus of £1m.

They could sell out on ST and compensate for that- if they were priced reasonably.

Also, a little bit more investment from them would not go a miss. Money they have.

Income is less hence season ticket prices remaining. It's simple.

Celtic are currently in debt. To invest lots more is very risky with no guarantee of success....just debt

With the way scottish football is just now it would be stupit for the board to spend money they dont have, just look across the city, nobody intreested in buying them, says it all.

we have made mistakes in buying players at the moment! maybe this is down to mismanagement? our finances compared to othersis hee haw. we do try and compete that way but we cant. there are days where i speak through ma heart and say we should be spending big money on players? but thats just the passion comming out of me. we have been punching above our weight for years now and to help us finacialy and of course the rest of scotland! we need the other teams and our national team to wake up and get ourselves back up the rankings to help us to automatically go straight into the cl . and of course the europa aswell. we do this then i suppose the finance will start to come back into the scottish game. and of course sponsorships. but thats for another thread. just now the season tickets are ok i think but i voted no as the quality of our team has been shambolic.

Income is less due to the downsizing.

One of the biggest sources of revenue was champions league money, strachans last year we finished bottom hence less income as funds are hugely performance related.
Last year we didn't even get in due to not being good enough to beat a * Huns team to the title and this year we have to play to extremely difficult qualifiers to get in once again because our players/manager were not good enough to win the league.

All forms of income are down. Operating costs, policing etc has increased. Season tickets cannot go down if even the current standard is to be maintained. If anyone can price otherwise fire away

Can't remember exact figure but it's more than that. If you look under creditors.
