Well we made £10mil of Mcgeady, theres the money we might have made if we had done anything half decent in Europa League.

We NEED to win the SPL, so lets focus on something that we can win.

Nothing wrong with Samaras, Brown or Maloney, would get rid of Zaluska though.

This has been the hardest one to take for me, after last week and the game on Sunday i thought we turned a corner. We can all shout and scream and say "sack him" "am not going back" etc etc. But at the end of the day we will keep supporting the team - we cannot turn off the way we feel, everyone is allowed to vent the frustrations. For me the biggest disappointment was the lack of fire and thunder that i thought we were getting. We look like lost wee boys in europe

how different is this team to Mowbray's? of all the signing's we've made, only Hooper has a realistic chance of being a british first teamer . Lenny wanted a british backbone to the team but we've ended up with foreigners again, do they really not care enough or have the fire within them to fight for every ball for the whole 90mins? only time will tell, 2 bad results away from home in europe this season are depressing me beyond belief but that's no different to any other season for us.

by my reckoning we've spent £8.5m ish on new signing but raked in £12m ish in sales so we haven't spent a penny and have £3.5m profit

as we're now out of europe before september, i cant see the board putting any more money in this season

this is when we will get to see how good Lenny is as a coach, the signs in the SPL are promising, just hope this result doesn't carry a hangover into the league

I will still be singing! Love every one of those players individualy, (maybe expect Loovens, Mulgrew and starting to get annoyed with Hooiveld and Zaluska.) But as a team its just not happening away from home in europe!

anyone who turns their back on the club after tonight doesnt deserve to be called a fan, im just as disappointed as the rest as you, i got up at 4am to watch this game, and to see europe for this season end is tragic, but to say youre not going to watch them again, getting a refund on season passes, refusing to go to games till the club "picks up its act" is just plain attrious. I would give anything to be able to see the club i love live rather than on a stream like i have to do. Im jealous of all you guys who can go to watch celtic on a regular basis, and to say you arent going to go watch them just makes me sick, when id grab the oppurtunity to watch them with both hands. If it was your marriage and you gave up after your other half made a mistake you wouldnt have been supporting them through thick and thin, it should be the same for your football club, when you support a club you basically take up a vow to support the club through thick and thin, and give it your all.

Just remember lads its only august, long season ahead. Rangers will have the problem of dropping a few points here and there due to resting players/injury/just being tired from europe which will play into our hand. Everyone on this forum was saying at the start, the league is the priority, europe is just something we should aim for in 5 years and any achievement now is fantastic, well now everyone is acting like its the end of time, its not small steps lads, the players need our support, theyll perform better with 50000+ strong at cp rather than 30000, so dont stop going to or, cause if you dont ill be very disappointed you are giving up one of the things in life i wish i had

also this is a reminding of what happens when you start getting ahead of yourself, i was guility of it to myself, looking forward to see how far we would progress in the europa league and who would be in our group, in the group stages, when we hadnt qualified.

Not the end of the world. Ok it was bad, but it doesn't mean that we will perform like this for the rest of the season. Every team has their good and bad games but I don't really care when I think about it because we can just focus on winning the league now. Did think McCourt was decent when he came on but maybe should have started along with Loovens but that can't be changed so I think we should just put this behind us and get behind the team again and put our trust in Lennon.

I'll never turn my back on Celtic, but I think theres a good chance we will all need to reassess what we actually expect of our club. Its gonna get to the point where qualifying for an European tournament is gonna be a massive success in itself.:54:

I just beyond me why he would change our forward line and if anybody was coming out of it, it should have been Samaras for Forrest, not Maloney :56:

Lennon has contradicted himself, he said he'll take the blame but also that he picked his strongest team. It was the players fault, not Lennon's. Each and everyone of those players didn't give a flying * about the Celtic Jersey tonight, not one. I really thought that would change when Lennon came in, but it just didn't tonight, same old *, absolute embarrassment, joke of a team. Remind me why I pour money into this club to follow them?

Stopped watching after 75 mins, dont think we had 1 shot on goal by then.

formation was the usual... 4-2-3-1 i think, not sure we were all over the shop.

1st pen was an ok call, maybe just outside the box.

2nd pen was *, Zaluska got the ball tbh.

That Mertens for Utrecht should have got sent off for stickin the head on Brown...but only got yellow. That was at 2 - 0 down aswell, would have been a game changer.

Still gonna stand by them, but im not gonna hide the fact im * off just now.

ahhh ive mellowed right down now. :| still not happy but not as angry as before.

what was mentioned above about reassessing our expectations for celtic is proberly right, i to believe were on the course to were qualifying for europe will be a success, nevermind participating in the group stages straight away...

I think the thing that really gets people is that these teams like Utrecht are nothing special yet we get embarassed by them. Maybe its a blessing for us to go on and canter this league. The league has always been the priority this season but it must be the air up here or something because as soon as we step outside Scotland, you could throw 11 of the worst players in the world together and we'd get pumped. It can't be Lennon's fault because this has been happening for years now. Its so unexplainable. Oh well, MON THE TIC!!!:50:
