I read some posts about the Utrecht fans...that we're all (or the most are) rangers fans. That's absolutely nonsense. And what else?? I bet there are also some Celtic fans who like AJAX (our biggest opponent.)

Just want to say that you don't have to take it too serious... even the songs about the pope and catholics... It's only to irritate the opponent.
In holland there are no clubs who have a special religion or something... Only AJAX who called theirselves 'SUPERJEWS' . They are not Jewish, but it's their 'nickname'. So we are singing about * Jews or whatever if we play against AJAX... not because we hate Jews, but because they use it as their nickname... and we like to make other fans going crazy

I'll bet you also have some songs to irritate huns

if the champions league was just for champions it would be even worse, then say this year you wouldnt have, man utd, real madrid, arsenal, ac milan, lyon etc, they would be replaced by, TNS, Linfield, Bohemians, etc, and ok it might make them teams better in the long run but it would still never be as good, the europa league would become a better competition than the CL

 

a nice boring 0-0 would suit me fine just so long as we get through!

 

i actually fancy us to win away on thursday, a 1-0 or 2-1, maybe im wrong tho, but i dont care aslong as we go through

 

We need to start off strong, normally away in europe we start slow and teams score one or two goals. If we dominate in the first period and get an away goal getting through looks better

 

cant see us going out goals or no. they need at least 2 with no reply. a hard task against our current form. 1-0 to celtic

 

don't know if anyone else has posted this prob has but goin to anyway. was just checkin the tv listins for the match and seen its on channel 433 on sky(premier sports)...it's pay per view now it used to be free but they changed that a few months back the buggers....not sure much it is to sign up think it's around 5.99 a month...

There a quite a few empty heads in Utrecht, and walking after the big mouth. Those big mouths are rangers "fans" because of michael mols..., and because of ONE scottish rangers person in the supporters club. So you probably gonna hear something about the pope and the ira from the bunnikside, just because they are following the big mouths.

And again, most of my mates I spoke really like Celtic (and most of the people in the stadium aswell), when they don´t play against our FC.
Celtic have been my favorite team for years, and I hope there will be a great atmosphere, not in a negative way because of the shouts.

But, i have always said that it isn't all of the Utrecht fans and it is nice to hear what you say. Every team has some fans that are a bit silly :icon_mrgreen:

 

i'd like to see us go there and beat them convincingly again. we have a very good team in my opinion and i dont see why we shouldnt be aiming to do it.

 

Would obviously take a draw, but would like to get an away win under our belts

Absolutely agree. I think if we can get an away win now then it could set us up for a good season in Europe

 

Dont want to curse anything could you imagine if we got the to final in Dublin...Think their would be riots?

 

2-1 Celtic, I can see both of us trying to grab some goals. If we can get at least one goal I think I will be a happy camper and enjoy the rest of the match without being too nervous, anything more will be a bonus :icon_mrgreen:.
