I think we'll lose. I just don't think we've got the players to beat Scotland's Shame. Not with Brown and co out. We should have signed better defenders and attackers during the Summer as well.

    * sake Metro talk about a defeatist attitude.

I'm confident that team could match the huns and go one further and WIN!

I'm sorry mate but there are just so many average to poor players in that 11 and Izaguirre is out for the game according to the latest injury updates which leaves us in an even worse mess.

Hooiveld and Loovens are hopeless and will get caught out if selected as they always do when tested. Stokes isn't good enough either. Especially not alongside Hooper! We then look to Samaras and Maloney to make things happen as well as cover our full backs. Not sure about that either as Maloney plays better in the hole behind a forward.

The biggest loss though is Scott Brown. I'm always pretty confident that we will compete with them when he's playing. When was the last time we beat them without Brown in the team??

Naismith and Miller will tear our back-line apart. Their weak-links this season have been Bougherra and Whittaker. In them we may find a weakness.

I would,nt go near a 3-5-2 against them ,Celtic will have most of the game that im sure of but a 3-5-2 is under estimating them and if Walter got any idea that this is the way that Celtic will come out against them he would for the first time in a long time play with 2 up front .

I have taken a Celtic win in this game but i also have doubts aswell but playing that formation in my view is playing into there hands.

These games aren't won on paper, sometimes it's the team that wants it the most on the day, lenny will ensure the eleven he puts out will be up to the task, we're at home and should go into the game with confidence not fear..............:50:

The next 2 games will define our season and Lennon's capabilities as manager. Sunday is our first real hard away game this season imo and our biggest test so far. We must go into the Old Firm game unbeaten at the very least, hopefully on the back of a win. The Old Firm game is huge considering how poor the other teams look and therefore the Old Firm games will count for more this season.

One bonus is that Brown is out for a while:icon_mrgreen:

early domination & staying switched on

I have to agree with the general consensus if we can dominate the first 20 - 30 mins of the game we can win , it really wont be an easy one we will have to fight hard and play for the win but i honestly believe we can go out and win this ( and not just because i,m a hoops fan ) we will be the better team on the day so fingers crossed we,ll have the bragging rights after the 90 mins :50: Hail Hail :shamrock:

The fact we're talking like this just adds more proof that the board have let us down. January can't come quick enough. I just hope we're still hanging on in there by then.

I would probably say concentrate on the Dundee Utd game first and take it from there, last thing we need is to drop points before the OF game.

Anybody know if McCulloch's injury keeps him out for this game?

If so who the * can they play in midfield apart from Edu and Davis?

One game at a time. Every game is a must win. 3 points regardless who we beat. That said, I would like to humiliate them every time we play. I'm confident that we will win this one, can't wait.

    2-1 Miller,Hooper.

93rd minute, sub Patrick J McCourt scythes through seven of the shames best tackles before blasting one that bursts the net, simply just walking away with one finger in the air......
