the team selection , resting players , ommitting players from the squad...not fair on us fans who have paid good money to see celtic . travelled far for the game to see that shambles . no heart , no energy , no commitment . thats two atrocious home performances , we have no european game midweek so resting players is a disrespect to the fans who pay the money to see a product and be entertained.

Without the filth in the league, younger players are always going to be featuring more regularly, as we effectively won the league on June 14th this year, when the slime were liquidated. Neil knows the title is in the bag for the next three seasons, at least.

You've no *-given right to be entertained.
Neil will continue to do what he thinks is in the best interests of the club. -
To be fair the team pretty much selected itself today with all the injuries we have.
-
2 teenagers in starting lineup, think neil is right to mix it up especially with rangers gone.
they will come on and get better. i think team should be given a break. -

I have a season ticket and want players rested. With the amount of injuries we have, we cant afford to chance players with niggles like Samaras, Rogne, Brown, Commons etc or else we could end up with the back-up team playing Barcelona :56:
Do you not want the youngsters to get experience and a lot of game time? -
Celtic played well in that we had more than enough chances it was just struggling to get them into the back of the net, we've brought in one striker so we should not really be having that problem again. Also a lot of players are out injured so Lennon didn't have much of a choice with the team today. -

The managers job isn't to guarantee 'entertainment' to 'paying customers' every week. It's to win trophies for the club. If he decides that part of his strategy in doing so is squad rotation and starting youth academy players, then so be it. Judge him by his results at the end of the season, not on your entertainment level this afternoon.
Personally I find it exciting to see players like Twardzik and Watt getting game time even if that means we occasionally drop points. -
Blooding in the youth players is good for the future. There's no real way that we're not going to win the league. It's a good strategy for the future, but you're saying we shouldn't do it because you want to be more entertained?

But then if Lennon played key players and they picked up injuries, fans would complain. He has the option now to keep the players as fresh as possible for Champions League, which could potentially generate more money for Celtic.
Im sure lennon won't stop them playing completely and will put the team together every few games to keep them together. Makes it difficult for other teams to scout also. -

With Rangers dead other teams know they can be in with a shout. Maybe not win it, but 2nd place would be a great achievement for them. I don't think that any team will be laying down and i don't think we'll walk it. Today showed that with 2 goals from silly mistakes that Hibs took advantage of. -
We are all disappointed mate but to say players were rested is totally wrong. Brown, Ledley, Kayal, Stokes, Mulgrew were all injured or carrying knocks. The injury list is no excuse for not winning but we can't win them all as much as we'd like to.
To say we had no heart, no energy and no commitment also to me makes no sense. First half we were totally in control and nobody was complaining then. We could easily on another day went in 4-0 up. It was only when Vic had to go off the defence went to pot. * happens.
Way I see it better to have the youngsters play as much as possible and learn from the mistakes made today. It could have been much worse. We will have other games like today but I'm still convinced we will win the league and still have a good run in Europe. -

We are still top of the league and that pish Hibs team are second.

With Miku, Ambrose and probably Lassad in now we'll still have a strong second choice.
Forster
Lustig Rogne Wilson Chalmers
McGeouch McCourt Twardzik
Stokes Watt Lassad
+ whatever starting XI material player didnt get a game, maybe Hooper or Miku or Commons or Forrest or Samaras or Kayal or Ledley or Brown or Wanyama. Plus Mulgrew or Ambrose could play games.
Plenty of strength in depth now. -

Seen a few people say this today so I'm guessing some folk have some kind of inside information?
You really think if we were resting people that they wouldn't be on the bench just incase?
They were injured simple as that, Commons just wasn't ready to stat the match which is why he started on the bench.
