I agree. We're quite clearly the better team but the lack of trust in the defence is affecting everyone. Jozo has lost it completely. Gamboa I've said from day one can't defend a cross ball and Ajer is all over the place defensively. We need 2 centre backs and a right back. Is so * obvious it's scary.

 

If we don’t make improvements in defence before the end of the window it’s an absolute * disgrace and heads need to roll.

Aside from the boyata situation the most obvious area to improve this season was the back, for so long to have passed with no signings is just pure neglect of responsibility.

Agree with Stewart left Gordon exposed, that was the defences ball all day long, Ghord shoulda just stayed on line as there mightve been the luck of a crap header.

 

Embarrassing performance, team is completely disjointed and unorganised.

Not a chance in * are we winning a treble this year, all a team has to do is get a 50/50 chance and with the state of our backline its more like a certainty they will score.

Getting very worried as its looking like we might end up in a dog fight even for the league which should have been a gimme if we actually had a decent and organised defence.

not even caring bout this game but by * i know nothing about fooball but if i am defending a free kick and its anywhere near me i will go to it and also i mark my man. 40 yard slow inswinging high free kick with tons of time to defend it and we dont lol.HH.

i think that is game management we are just controlling the game and seeing it out and making sure the opposition havent got it and running at us

we do seem to neglect dembele at times the amount of times i seen him making we runs looking for a pass from mikey or mcgreggor brown or ntcham is astonishing, its like we are risk averse with our passing we dont trust ourselves to play a succesful pass into dembele

 

Can’t believe this team managed to knock apoel out, must have been a freak game.
