    Applauded by the Athletic fans, who also applauded Giggs when he got substituted. With the Basque heritage, Biesla, exciting players like Llorente and Muniain and then the fans, it's very easy to have a soft spot for them.

    Not all all ask Jamesy or Moncur67 i wanted to blood the young lads from the start could not give a * about it.

    Fergie never either as proved tonight ,If that was the champs league 2nd leg and we had to win noway would he leave Nani with just a knock back in Manchester , or leave out a fit Antonio Valencia .

    Taking nothing away from Athletic Bilbao they was fantastic over both legs and should have won by a much bigger score line in both games.

    But in my opinion the club never gave a * about this.

    Well we might have to presume they never gave a * about the Champions League either, cos they were no better against Basel.

    Only difference is, Bilbao are a much better team.
