Clutching at straws is saying he attacked a player when the lad clearly didn't.
Saying he 'tried' is a desperate claim.
He ran on the pitch and pretended to kick a ball and celebrate.

And what have miners got to do with anything? There are no miners here trying to get a young boy strung up for a load of * all.
But that's ok because none of us, none have obviously ever done something stupid at that age, eh?
Getting the club a fine is obviously worse than a tax payer footed bill for your antics.
    Brilliant.

He ran onto the pitch and ran towards a player and didn't 'connect'. Nothing desperate there. Now if you choose to believe that he ran onto the pitch to pretend to kick a ball and celebrate then seriously I don't know what to say to you mate .. well other than ask if you would like to buy a bridge :86:
What did me , possibly, costing the tax payer money 30 years ago have to do with this either ... as I said clutching at straws.
Oh I have admitted when I was a *, however running onto a football pitch in front of 60k, while the game is being broadcast live, takes being a * to a whole new level but if people want to make feeble excuses for that crack on. Just don't expect me to agree with it.
Lets really hope it is only a fine, otherwise that might not be so brilliant.

Easy way to resolve all the indiscipline at Uefa tournaments..

Clubs should have to pay Uefa to police & steward all matches... then if any rules are broken the clubs can fine Uefa

He could have had a kick about anywhere on the pitch But he decides to run 50 yards and pretend to a kick a ball:56:where mbappe had been standing a second before. Aye right.

Fair enough just seen it again and he does aim a kick at him.
But my point still stands. People baying for blood for this is hysteria.

Seems to be born more out of embarrassment than anything else.
And you have just confirmed this.

Aye, its always easier to comment on something having seen it mate.

I cant speak for anyone else however my opinion on it hasn't changed - Ban him and if possible we should try and reclaim the costs incurred (the fine, that we all hope that is all). Yes I have said he deserves a good kick in the baws, perhaps I should have been clearer when I said that though. I didn't mean every * should get to do that. Although I did kinda imagine people ,when reading that, would have understood that in the first place but heyho.

Embarrassment - If you mean, by that, that I would prefer to NOT have images of a player having to move out of the way because some wee fud ran at him on our pitch not flashed around Europe then yea put me down for being embarrassed.
