I have PM'd you, it seems my post has confused a few, although who it was aimed at has certainly grasped it anyway.

Oh yeah. I was just stating the obvious.

If that isn't how you feel, I'm more than happy to accept your apology.

Wow, a fine of thousands. That's like, what, a few hours of Lawwell wage.

That's probably why we were playing a match against the best attacking line in the world with only one recognized CB: because we spent all the 30 million pound CL bonus paying fines. Amazing. Let's charge even more for the tickets because of this, our club must be skint.

And like, * the UEFA. They make up the rules as they go. FFP is fiction, the rule about not allowing two clubs from the same owner in the same competition is gone; two clubs with the same colours, same name and same badge took part in the UCL but surprisingly they have nothing to do with each other. But somehow we and a bunch of eastern european clubs need to be "made of an example". If only PSG didn't field his striker signed with illegal money maybe this lad wouldn't have anything to kick.

You're right everyone should spend £38 and if it only costs the Club a "few £1000's" that'll not be a problem will it ...

    * * was it a full moon last night or something :56:

What if Aberdeen got fined in the 80s when their hooligans used to run riot in town centres leathering people and causing thousands of pounds of damage?
Would you, I mean they, have stopped?
What about the cost to the taxpayer in policing, clean ups and prevention?

Better call the fire service mate as your going to need a big * ladder to get off that high horse.

Looking at all the disciplinary problems involving many clubs in Uefa tournaments i have come to the conclusion that the problem must be with the authority as they obviously can't control their members - TIME FOR CHANGE

It would be interesting to compare our discipline result against Spartaks.

As I have repeatedly said - If Aberdeen got * over I couldn't have given less of a * if I tried, because I never claimed to be a fan/supporter of aberdeen, people seem to miss this point when they try and be smart. Oh and there is a difference between town centres, football grounds and actually attacking players.

And you will admit your past behaviour was a burden on tax payers?
You have used the justification that your money you spend on Celtic is being used to pay a fine because of this lad, yes?
What's the difference between that and working peoples taxes being spent on needless clean ups and police enforcement so that young lads at the time, like yourself could get their jollies?

He didn't connect with a player, that'll be what you mean.

    * me you're clutching at straws here but I suppose I would have been a 'slightly' smaller burden on the tax payer than the striking miners for example, but neither resulted in a football club being fined.

Brendan Rodgers has expressed his concern at the effect any degree of stadium closure would have on Celtic’s prospects of making further progress in Europe this season.

“It would be [a concern] because it is certainly not something that we would want,” said Rodgers, who then referenced the closure of Celtic Park in 1985 for a Cup-Winners Cup tie against Atletico Madrid.

“Our big advantage, when we are a million miles away from some other clubs in Europe in terms of financial support, is through the supporters. If we don’t have them then it could be difficult.”

I can't believe he even entertained questions on this never mind actually discussing stadium closure.

I just assumed it was some over the top hun reporting that brought about all the closure talk in the aftermath of the game the other night.

I'm still skeptical. How realistic of an outcome is it?
