    UEFA.......

you want to play in their competition, then you play to their rules.

    can't really complain.

We were worse for the Rebs back then.

That award was the worst thing to happen to us. You can trace back the handwringing and panty wetting to that very day.

Unfortunately they also hold the key to Celtic being allowed entry (by qualification) to the CL.

I don't give a * about UEFA and the one game ban. Will these * at the SFA try the same thing..????? I don't mean tying Celtic scarves to the opposition goal posts

As much as a loved him doing it he did actually gesture 5-1 to the scummy fans and he tied the scarves to the post to wind up the linfield fans and to a certain extent to pump up the Celtic fans , and it worked a treat

I agree mate but to be fair when a seen the draw I expected a lot worse , to come out it with a small fine and a game ban is pretty decent

The sanctions for both clubs appear wildly disproportionate.

LG was unquestionably cheeky to tie a scarf to the goalpost in Belfast/Ibrox.

Not sure any Celtic fan would have appreciated Kenny Miller doing something similar in Parkhead, but nevertheless fans then 'choose' to act irrationally as a consequence. However lobbing glass bottles at anyone is obviously very dangerous, and can result in serious injury.

To penalise a cheeky gesture over a dangerous act highlights how flawed/corrupt UEFA's thinking actually is.

Until another organisation can guarantee the TV money/crumbs UEFA throw our way, we're stuck with these idiots.

It seems to get forgotten mate but missiles ( including a bottle) were thrown long before the scarf was tied to the post.
