Hopefully Bremen wins tonight. Can´t stand them but want all German teams to come as far as possible.

 

Aalborg such a poor team even watching them now, still cant believe we couldn't beat them.

Hmm some interesting results. No team is 100% through but it's looking good for CSKA Moscow, Dynamo Kiev, Man City, Udinese & Werder Bremen.

I'd particularly like to see the second legs of Ajax/Marseille & Galatasary/Hamburg.

At the moment if I was to pick a winner it'd be CSKA Moscow with Werder Bremen & Udinese as dark horses.

Why do you dislike Bremen?

 

I really do hope that's Aalborg out now they are such a poor team and that game watching them last night proved how bad they are, i think Shakhtar will turn that game around in Ukraine we all know how good they can be.

Well...turns out you were right mate. Shakhtar won 2-0 on the night, 2-1 on aggregate. I'm suprised, I rated CSKA higher. Ukraine league really going well in Europe this season.

In the all Ukranian tie, Dynamo Kiev go through on away goals against Metalist.

The holders Zenit are out, falling to Udinese.

 

Dark horses Shakhtar good win for them, just watching the Man City Aalborg game, Ched Evans is playing a lone strike role see how he does the night still think we should have signed him.

Hmm they're a good team but not great.

Had Robinho hit the ball an inch lower the game would be over, City have been better over the two legs but choked when the pressure was really on.

Evans has been awful imo. Celtic looked to have dodged a bullet there...

 

Evans doesn't look the part although he's up front on his own. Dunne is so slow it's laughable. He's been getting caught out all season.
