Will be much closer than against Linfield. We are better all over the park though and over the two legs our quality should shine through. Last season with Brendan just in the door we went to possibly the two worst away venues we could have drawn, Israel and Kazakhstan. * roasting and intimidating venues to play.

We are now over a year into the project. Our team is night and day from the ones that lined up against Astana and Hapoel. There is strength in depth middle to front. I mean we had O'Connell and Janko in the backline along with ambrose also playing as well.

There is reason to be more optimistic, we are miles better than last year and we don't face a 5-8 hour journey along with a time difference to go to Norway.

I personally don't mind the second leg being away. I think its good to know going there if the team has scored an away goal or not. It doesn't leave you needing two goals if they were to come here second leg and score against us.

Would still want a victory margin of two goals to take over there and i think we will do that.

Griffiths out for this due to that stupid ban UEFA have imposed? Need Dembele fit and fresh to fire us ahead enough to not make the away journey a stressful one.

I'm not a massive fan. Malmo and Hapoel are still fresh in my mind.

How the * is Deila gonnae help Rosenborg?

Brendan has the players playing a completely different way tae whit he had them playing.

Deila, "Armstrong is not a good player, I dropped him."

    "Brown is finished"

    etc.. etc..

I'd be horrified if Rodgers was listening to advice from deila 'just keep giving the ball side to side and you'll have that much possesion you'll win'

I mean that's what Deila would be saying.

I don't bother with it as much as i used to....remember under O'Neills UEFA run i was actually wanting us to be drawn at home first in the end....this is the strongest side we've had since then and with a similar mentailty we can kill sides off over here or if not at least be a wee bit more confident of doing damage away!

This team is completely different from the ones that faced those sides. We have a right to be a bit more confident.

This is one of the better draws we could have gotten. Much happier with this than I was with the prospect of facing Astana who have been a CL side in recent years, in the * end of nowhere, at the same stage last year.

It was more like 80% posession, reinforcing your point further. Not even a competitive game... never mind close in the slightest, have no idea what this chap trying to argue.

Excited for this, phoned the ticket office and got my ticket sorted this morning. £14.50 is a class price (Student) for this game.

These are the games that get the blood pumping with so much at stake, the nerves will be there but I'm looking forward to hopefully pumping these arrogant Nordic *, seen quite a few on their forum who are chuffed to have drawn us and avoided Copenhagen.

For this game at home I'd go 3-4-3 again like we went against Linfield at home. Take the game to them because they're not used to all out defending and I think they'll go for it leaving us to exploit them. Hopefully Moussa gets his act together this time but he's usually reliable in turning up for the big occasion which this is. Not wanting Gordon to start don't trust would honestly rather give De Vries a game who's looked okay during pre season.

    ------------De Vries------------

    --Lustig---Jozo----Tierney------

    ---Benyu--Ntcham--Armstrong--

    ------------Rogic-----------------

    ----Forrest---Dembele---Sinclair---

Would be my team. With Brendan though I think he'll play Gordon ahead of De Vries and Brown ahead of Benyu.

They are * shocking, we should be blowing them away, from what I've seen with their matches agaisnt Dundalk we will bully them.
